Simba

This is my baby Simba. He came to us last year from the local Humane Society. For reasons unfathomable to us, the person who owned him (a breeder) had to give him up. He is a 3 yr. old red Persian, and he is the sweetest little guy. A real ham. He is most lovable, as long as you don't try to pick him up. This picture was taken of him as he was bathing himself. -Riquel

He is really cute!!!! I like the orangie/red color cats. The bath is most important. Its right up there with sleeping.

How very cute. Our cats, Maddie especially, tend to pause mid-groom in the oddest (and cutest) positions, just like Simba.

Hi Simba!

That's wonderful of you, Riquel, to give him a home.

Who's the little one in the background?

This picture put a smile on my face! How absolutely adorable! He's saying to the camera "A beer, a ball game and a good scratch on the tummy and I'm good to go". Al Bundy Fuzz!

My sister's cat sits like this all the time. He such a long cat that this is the one position that he's comfy in.

Yeah, who's the love in the back?
Good of you Riquel to give this sweety a home!

For those of you not familiar with Al Bundy, he's the father on an old show called Married With Childre. Well, not that old, but old enough for me to FEEL old. LOL!!

What an adorable, cuddly fluff! I think it would be really hard to resist picking him up. Will he jump in your lap to cuddle? I have an oversized all black fluff (named Grr) who doesn't like to be picked up either. She prefers to express her love when and how she chooses. Can we have pictures of the cutie in the doorway too?

Riquel, He is a beautiful boy! A big HOORAY for all of us who rescue, whether strays on the street, shelter babies, or breed rescue groups.

Flumpy sometimes stops in the middle of his bath, and will forget that his has a hind leg over his head. Meepsie tries to scratch when she is running--LOL--and sometimes lands in a heap.

Rosie, have you FINALLY gotten all the hairballs out of your computer? ...Ahem.... sounds so much better than ..HYAK..

I am so glad that eveyone like's my baby. He is a sweetie. It works on my computer, I don't know if it works on anyone elses but if you click the picture it will get bigger. The baby in the background is Charlotte, I plan on sending in pictures of her too. She is another foundling.

PS. He will cuddle, and sit in your lap all day long, and sleep on my chest all night long...just don't pick him up, he goes nuts, and wiggles until you have to put him down.

Speaking of mid-groom, Maddie will sometimes stop "mid-lick" with her little pink tongue still sticking out. Do any of yours do that too?

Finished my long run and went out back to run cold hose water on my tired legs. Within seconds, all three of ours were out there too. And Kona and Maddie were playing jungle kitties, hiding behind bushes and trying to ambush each other.

My Emma does the "tongue still sticking out thing" too. It looks too cute when they do that. I need to get a picture of that.

I clicked on the picture and it DID get bigger! Thanks! I needed a better look at that adorable fluff!

Oscar does the mid-tounge lick thing too. I think it's so hysterical!

Gosh, I just realized that I cannot spell today! I guess we all have those days.

Much better look at that beautiful face- Thanks for the hint on blowing up the picture. Having been staff to three Himalayans over the years, I love the Persian face, but only the doll face like Simba's not the Peke face where the poor dears sound like bulldogs!

My current gang don't leave their tongues hanging out very often, but my sister's calico girls(collectivly known as "The Calico Menace") seem to always have their tongues out. They are a pair of totally crazy kits.
