Hank

This is a picture of our 7 month old Desert Lynx, Hank. Hank is 1/8th bobcat. He is polydactyl (has extra toes) and is more like a dog than a cat. He follows us around, greets us at the door when we come home, plays fetch with his toys and LOVES to play in any water! He is the most affectionate and entertaining cat we've ever had. He is now 11 pounds - his dad weighs 23 pounds! -Rita C.

Good Morning Fuzz Family! Hank is sooooo cute. Love te name. Is he a real cowboy? Or would that be cowcat?

I am sooooo tired today. I did not get home until 11 something last night. I am the one who is sually asleep by 9. I read the comments from yesterday. Think you have no life? I go to bed at 9. Anyway I did not get a chance to hook up my puter I will try again today. I used to have a long phone cord but can't find it. Oh well will have to look harder.

Hank certainly looks to be the character. Would you look at that pose, the way he is leaning on one "elbow". The knowing look on his face. I am in love!!! Rita C, he is beautiful, handsome, whatever. Wow.

Good luck Danielle! I miss your posts! So what was the answer to the trivia?

Howdy Cowgirls! I feel all nice and Western inside! It reminds me of living in Tulsa! Boo Hoo! I miss Tulsa, and I've lived everywhere! But here in Northwestern Arkansas, only three hours away from Tulsa, the men where cowboy hats and boots too, so all's not lost! And to think, I'm actually a Hawaiian that grew up in New Orleans! But Cowboys, yummy, are close enough to be Southern from me!

OK,now that I got my rambling out of the way...!

So ladies, anyone have anything special going of for the 4th? We're going up to Table Rock lake with the kids and then back to town to see fireworks, if we're too tired. Alan and I aren't big on firework, lazy I guess, but our kids are at the age to where it's a big deal. So we'll have to see what we can do. Whatever the case, it should be a good day for all! So tell me, what's the family got going on?

ML, I forgot to tell tell you that I was dying laughing yesterday! Brokeback Kitties?!!!! I just saw that movie and now your comment is even funnier!!! And no, my husband would not watch it!!! He's not a Homophobe, he just didn't have a dersire to see the movie.

Hello Fuzz Family!

I LOVE HANK!! He's SO BIG for 7 months, and that is quite the male model pose! Suave, debonaire, ready for a day of trail riding!
Speaking of which, my Quarter Horse was named "Dial Mr. Hank", or Hank to his friends! He has such confidence in his eyes, doesn't he?! A FuZZ-Chick magnet!
Hey Hank, care to make an aquaintence with my Emily??? Movies, music, long walks on the beach...oh wait, that's My profile...

Has anyone heard from Kathleen? Maybe I missed something...I hope she's okay...

Emily has me a bit concerned today. I had set up a separate litterpan for their Royal Highnesses, but Prince Brutus (Deb promoted him from Lord!) started using Emily's box. I noticed she hasn't gone poo in a day or 2, and this morning, she bit me when I went to scratch the base of her tail-she was ok last night with that...I hope she's not "holding it in"! I changed the litter so it wouldn't smell "butch" to her, but she only tinkled. I keep telling her "Emily go Caca Poopoo?
Go Caca Poopoo for mommy". It's a good thing my apt is pretty sound proof! She IS beginning to chase the kittens around, roughhousing with them. Friday morning, during my 'bathroom rituals' has always been "quality time" for me and Emily, she'll have her faucet drink, she'll search for "bugs" for me, and gives hugs. Now, the babies hear me up, and they join in the AM ritual, too. There was a krinkly ball in there on Friday, and Brutus and Princess Marigold (she got promoted, too!) were having a high old time playing soccer. Emily was watching so intently, she couldn't stand her old bad self, and she rolled over on her back and reached her paws out to them, like "Oh, can I play too!" Brutus got behind the door, and that is one of Queen Emily's favorite games - swatting through the space between the doorframe and the door. (Oh yeah, Deb elevated Emily to Queen!)
Emily adores Marigold! But Marigold is such a little fluff of cotton candy who can resist? I have been taking plenty of pics! I have 2 cameras finished, one being processed now, and one just started. I've got to try to get a few pics of Brutus airborne! He's a regular jumping bean! They're really a pleasure, and help get my mind off of "stuff", like Corzine shutting down NJ government. That's gonna hurt me BIG TIME. I depend on certain NJ programs, like Medicaid and foodstamps. I don't know what's going to happen in the next few weeks. I want to move- NJ sucks anymore!

Deb must have been chosen by St Francis to do his work for him! The FuZZ Whisperer, I love that!!!

Rosie sent me THE most outrageously funny link yesterday! The things cat people think up to do proves to me that we have a far higher developed sense of humor!

I have more to say, but I'll write "Vol.II" a bit later.

Chat later...

Jess - Just got your emails! Your kitties are beautiful and handsome! You have to check out 4/9/06 in the archives!! Twins! I guess I'll post him 1st, so everyone can see what I'm talking about! Hello Queen Mother Rose! Hey, that sounds very nice! The Queen sounds constipated. Poor baby is not a happy girl. Oscar did that for a while and then finally started to poop in the bath tub. His stool was always very dry and hard. You may want to ask the vet what to do. I know that there is a laxative, our old cat use to take it. With Oscar, he decided on his own that he would just poop outside. I know this is not an option for you, or Emily actually. But she is constipated.

Kat, Jess, NO FAIR!!! I can't wait to see "the family" over the next few weeks. Even though Kat is going to be mean and with hold any and all cute information until said cats are revealed, I shall wait and play along Miss Thang! LOL!!!

Kim - Naa Na Na Na Naaaa! LOL! I love you Kim! Muaha ha ha!

Good evening. The answer for the trivia is the horse. It has 18 more bones than the human. well 8 or 18 I can't remember. I can;t access that site cause I'm not at work. I still can't find the phone wire I need. I will continue to look.

Emma's Kat said...

Jess - I made a boo boo earlier when I said to look at the kitty for 4/9. It should've been 4/8, Oscar! Look at Oscar on 4/8/06! Sorry for the confusion! He could be twins w/your kitty that I'm making Kim wait to see. He'll be posted in a few days.

Each time I see Hank, he gets cuter. Trying to think of a caption to go with his picture.

He needs an agent, he is just too handsome and too poseable. He has such a ruggedness about him. I have never seen a cat that is part bobcat, is that what the desert lynx means?
