Friday Foster: Annie

Annie is a dreamboat cat! She is curious, confident, responsive and affectionate, but also relaxed and laid back. She was being fed as an outdoor stray by a lady who recently passed away. A very nice lady trapped her and brought her to her foster home. Annie is very petite, only 5.5 pounds, and is approximately one year old. She is jet black with turquoise green eyes. She's had at least one litter of kittens, but is now spayed and current on all of her shots. Annie is comfortable around friendly dogs and is learning to warm up to other cats. She loves to be held, to play, and will follow you around the house to be close to you. Her sweet disposition and happy temperament, despite her rough start in life, make her a great fit for many different kinds of loving, forever homes. What a beauty. I'm surprised she is still looking for a home. Those eyes are so unique and the contrast with the sleek black fur, wow.

Ahhhh....
Thanks so much, Kat!
Annie didn't go to Pet Smart for adoption day last Sat. due to a UTI but that's all cleared up now so we'll go up tomorrow.
This rescue group has two other black kitties trying to find homes right now, so she's got some competition along those lines.

As tempting as it is to keep her (and I still may!), I'd love to find her the perfect forever home so that I can keep fostering other needy kitties. She's really socializing well...LOVES people, is totally great with the dawg...but is still a bit territorial with my cats, which is understandable, since she had to compete with a cat colony outdoors for food for so long.

With each passing day she becomes more well-nourished as she is always eating. She will eat anything! Not fussy at all. LOVES to play, sleeps on my bed, and now has her food and litter box integrated with my three. Hopefully someone in my area will see this and want her. She's such a doll!

Many thanks again,
Laura (Mosaic Lady)
(PS...she's really itching to go outside. While I won't allow that while I'm her "foster mom", if I were keeping her, I would let her start exploring the yards like mine do during daylight hours. She can be indoor/outdoor.)

Aw, Annie looks like little Inky - who we fostered this past winter.
Inky found a forever home and we're sure that Annie will soon, too!
What an adorable mini house panther she is! SO sweet!

She looks like our Annie who recently gave birth to two cutie kittens. Perhaps they were separated at birth. You can see photos at http://krasotacats.blogspot.com
