Cleo

Hi, I am Cleopatra and Casper's mom is my mom too. I was trying to find my way and I was so hungry and crying when a lady came around the corner of the house and asked me what was wrong. Right away she saw that I was starving. She picked me up and gave me love and started feeding me a little at a time until I finally could eat normally. I am nine months old now and I really like playing with Casper and I feel so at home with the all love and pets I get.

Hey Kat,
I just spoke with the vet and he said he got rid of the blockage. Jake started grooming himself. which is a good thing. But he had bllod work done and it showed problems with his kidneys and liver. Thank you for your support. I really need it now. On the lighter side of things he might be able to come home after Monday if he is doing well enough.

That's great news! When will they know more about his blood work results?

What a gorgeous cat. I am a bit partial to the the black and white cats myself (next, of course, to the smokey tabbies like Missy Blue Eyes!). Look at those gorgeous eyes. Ohmigosh. What a beauty. Certainly well named. She is indeed very regal, she has her cattitude. Oh, I just noticed...she is with Casper! Lucky little girl. What a cute pair.
Please, please, please keep us all posted on Jake.

What a beauty! I'm so glad she found such a good home. How sad that she had to start out her life all lost and hungry.

Hi Cleo!

What absolutely captivating eyes she has. She's a real beauty!

I'm still thinking good thoughts for Jake too. So the vet has no idea what could have caused the blockage? Diet? Something? Anything? I'd be going crazy--I'd want to make changes to prevent if from happening again. But if it's congenital, well, I guess that would be a different story. Keep getting better Jake.

Danielle so glad to hear from you about Jake. Still more prayers going up for your sweetie. I agree it's so hard on mamma's. And yes Danielle you can call her Cleo because that is what we call her most of the time.

Rosie(who else) Whether you comment or not I know what your are saying or thinking about Cleo from half a world away. Look at those FB's. I just noticed how big they are in this picture.

Thank you again Kat for posting Cleo. She looks at everything with this wide eyed look. To me she looks like she's discovering a whole new world what ever she looks at. I noticed her eyes even before I noticed that she was so skinny and hungry.

Thank you all for your very nice comments about our newest addition to our family and have a wonderful Happy Easter

Ok, the internet is often filled with crazy, rude, just plain useless people .. but then there are corners like *this* .. where people hear just a little about a problem and start sending all sorts of love and supportive energy and it's just such a nice reminder that there's so much good out there in the wide world!!
