Kirbie & Max

Who says opposites don't get along! Maxwell the Siamese and Kirbee the orange and white are the best of buddies. Well, for five minutes at a time at least. This is both their favorite look-out sight and once a day having to be civil to each other won't hurt. Makes Mom happy! Oh, did I mention Kirbee will be 19 years old in 4 months? Max on the other hand is a ripe ole 10. May to December romance for sure.

Love to all cat lovers,
Debbie

Good morning!

Odd Couple FuZZ

I love their names, Maxwell & Kirbee. Has Max been w/Kirbee since he was a kitten, Debbie? They are too cute together! Thanks for a great picture!

This is a GREAT picture! This is one of those moment "blink and they're gone". Your timing was perfect! It looks like it's so natural for them to be together all the time! Your boys are SOOO cute! Maxwell is so refined and handsome while Kirbee is relaxed and comfortable. Very beautiful boys! And WOW, 19 years old! You go boy!

Good Morning All, Happy Friday!!

You were right Kat, worth waiting for!

Maxwell and Kerbee are a dynamic duo-so cute together. You are very lucky.

I want to take time to thank all of you for giving me so many "Cat and Kitten" sources on the internet. As was mentioned by someone yesterday-checking these sites is the highlight of my day too.

Hope Jake will be home for the weekend.

Oh Danielle, when I made my comment about Jake this weekend, I hadn't read all of yesterday's comments and didn't realize he wouldn't be home by then but it is for the best. My beautiful Simon was at the vet's for about 4 days and I visited him every day. Hard to leave them but I'm sure he is getting the very best care and your visits show him how much you love him. My best thoughts for Jake and a 100% recovery!!!!

Hey guys! That's crazy...I just went to Stuff on my Cat and they have an Imposter! I just wonder if it's the same Imposter from TDK!? This person was being down right nasty though. I don't think Mario can keep up w/comments at his site, though because they haven't been deleted. I didn't say anything. I don't want the Imposter coming here. Although I would delete any foul comments pretty fast. Anyway, just thought I'd mention that.

debbie - what a great pic of your two kitties. Kirbee has such beautiful color and fluffy fur. i really like his facial markings. especially his nose. i have a special spot in my heart for (applehead) saimese. we have had quite a few when i was growing up and i had one after i got out on my own. they are so full of purrsonality. maxwell is a regal looking "young" kitty.

Maxwell, and Kirbee are both very handsome boys. Kirbee looks like the chill kitty lovey. Congrats kirbee for the coming up birthday. I just want to give both bunches of loves. I have a little applehead siamese too. I just love the regal purrsonality that she has, and i guess others have as well.

Hi Kirbie, Hi Max!

Beautiful babies you have there Debbie. They look wonderful. I always love it when ours end up in "close proximity" and stay that way for a few minutes. They are so wonderful and funny.

GS--We just started an aquarium (brought our outside pond fish inside). We haven't even named them. Do they count?

GS - i have a beautiful chow chow. i will send the pic of him after i scan it. he's really cute in the pic. just had his hair cut and was sticking out his tongue when i took the pic. i'll see if i can get it to you this weekend.

Happy Friday to All!

Debbie, what a Kodak Moment! It seems like Maxwell, being the supreme Siamese, is lording over his subject, who, because Kirbee is his elder, he may have bestowed upon him the grace of his presence for...however long he can tolerate being there! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KIRBEE!! The Big 1-9!! Your mom takes special good care of you, dude, because you don't look a day over 8!

Kat1 - I went to visit Stuff on my Cat, and the last few entries were the regular Fluff family to the site pointing out the imposter, and one of the people who the imposter made such an obscene comment under her ID, swore to all that it wasn't her, and asked Maxwell to remove it...Imposters like that "should be sent into the Army", as my Dad used to say about miscreants!

GS - I have a picture of my Basset Hound, Baggins - (I actually took him to a photo studio! The photog and his assistant were having the best time!)...but, Baggins went to the Rainbow Bridge...is that ok, still, or too grim? (I'm feeling grim asking, but Baggins ws such a joy and used to groom my 3 cats until they got too slobbery and swatted him on his nose to stop!)
Just putting it out there...

I don't mean this as a threat, but I may be back, and I'm going to join in on the pursuit of Our Queen of all things Fuzzaduzz, since she's summopned me in lke fashion in the past...

WHERE THE HELL IS ROSIE!!!!!

...ahem...thank you for the outlet, Katmaster!

Geez, aside from typos, I called the CatMaster Mario - MAXWELL!!!
I have Siamese-on-the-brain!!! But anyway, the same pervert had three listings under "killer" that I think could be considered terroristic threats...
It's too nice out...forgetaboutit!
(bad mobster accent, huh?)
OKAY! I'M GOING!!
Later...

Shirley, I had a Chow. He was black and his name was Buddy! We adopted him when he was 13. He was badly neglected and very submissive. He came to understand that we would only offer love and never threaten him. He was only with us for a year, but that was a wonderful year! He was SUCH a good dog that we trusted him with our newborn son. They would lay on a blanket on the floor, along with out three cats. I wish I could find that picture!!! Anyway, Chows get a bad wrap. I think it's all in the way they're raised! Buddy would always know before Sean started crying and would "come get us!" He NEVER fought with the cats, they magically took to each other from day one. Oscar and Buddy were especially close. When Buddy passed away, Oscar would roam the house for the first month, thinking Buddy would be there somewhere.

There I go again, getting carried away.

GS, I've asked friends and family to send photos so that I can pass them on to you and Kat.

What handsome kitties! Kirbee looks like our Tilly who will be 17 in August. Max looks very protective. Thanks for sharing!

Kim, I'm so happy that Buddy has you and your family for his last year-you gave him the love he really deserved.

I want to send pictures of my cats Emma and Alex to both Pet du Jour and Kat's Cats but have to get them to stay together long enough to send a good one. They are littermates and both black so need the right setting so they can be seen. I'm working on it.

Love Maxwell and Kirbee. Two really nice handsome kitties. It is a really nice picture of the two of them. I always wanted Casper to retain the Siamese side of him, but no matter I love him to pieces anyhow.

kim - we found our chow, rex, at the spca. i had to take some kittens we found there. there were kinda shy towards strangers so i kept them (with much protest from my husband) until they were more manigable (sp?). i kept checking on them until all were adopted.

back to rex. he was put up for adoption for fighting w/ another dog. the owner had another male chow and neither were "fixed". makes you wonder about some people. rex is so gentle and loving. the spca said he was about 4 years old and he has been with us for 12 years now.

i will tell everyone more when i send the pic to post.

Beautiful kitties - beautiful picture! I love Maxwell's face and his striped tail. Kirbee is a big ball of cuddly fluff. Love them both!

Oscar the Puppy Cat said...

Thanks, Claire. We really do miss him, especially my husband. We'll see him again!

OHHHH, Where oh where oh where is Rosie? Where oh where oh where is Rosie? Where oh where oh where is Rosie? Where could Rosie be?! Sorry, that's a song from Bear in the Big Blue House. Where is Shadow. Oh I give up! If you don't know who Bear is it won't do any good to explain! LOL!

Meowmepurr's Mumma said...

Ya know, there are times when I'm glad I never had "Mommy" songs on the brain(LOL)!!

DEBBIE--your boys are so sweet together. I bow down to Kirbee, for his age and obvious wisdom. It does look like Maxwell is watching over his older brother.

Reminds me of 2 of mine, now waiting at the Rainbow Bridge. Thomas was our big yellow (fixed) tom, and Rudy was our Himalayan baby boy. Rudy idolized Thomas, and his greatest joy was to "go out with my brudder." The 2 of them would go, either shoulder to shoulder, or Rudy, running as fast as his littleshort legs would carry him, following behind. Mind you, this was long before people started keeping all cats indoors.

Where is our Rosie? In the past, I have drawn her out(and drawn her wrath) by using some of HER MAGIC WORDS. If she doesn't show up soon, I'll try it(and then run for cover)!!

hey guys, er gals! i know both of those songs. my daughter used to watch both of those shows. i especially like PB&J. i would always tell her to use her noodle. and she would always give me "that look" like moooom, really! funny what even little ones do. of course she's not little anymore (she's the ripe old age of 9).

sorry i got off the subject of kitties there. just couldn't resist.

Hey these guys are really cute. I like cats who are buddies.

I was not able to come on today, until now. Only for a short period of time. I just went to see Jake. Here is an update..... He is not really doing any better. He had to have more blood work done. If his liver is ok they will do a surgury and basically make him into a girl. If his liver is not ok there is nothing they can do but hope he starts going to the bathroom. I am so F***ed up emotionally right now. Sorry for the language. I just don't know what to do. I am asking for everyone PLEASE keep us in mind over the next 24 hours. I will not be able to come back on until maybe tomorrow night. I find out about his test results tomorrow AM I am going to be going nuts until then.

Sorry for the space I used. Please keep us in mind.
