Ainge

Hi! Here is a picture of our beautiful, but mean spirited cat Ainge. She lured everyone in with her beauty and then either bit or scratched them. Even though we warned people not to trust her they couldn't resist. Maybe that is what helped her to live to the age of 19. As of yesterday morning she is now in Rainbow Heaven. I am sure she is luring, biting and scratching anyone that she can. We will miss her even though she gave us our share of bites and scratches. Thanks for posting all the cats that you do. I really enjoy it. -Gail

Morning everyone!

Hi Ainge! She is very beautiful and looks so soft. So she was a bit of a "spit-fire". So funny.

I love the little rug she's laying on.

Good morning! Ainge was a beautiful girl! I love her markings on her face! And her little black paw pads!! Everyone might remember her kitty brother, Squentin Terrantino(sp?). He is in the April archives. Gail, As said in my email I'm so sorry for your loss!

Hi! Thank you. She was born in a friends loft and when we saw her she hissed at us. I told my husband that's the one I want. Our daughter had a crush on Danny Ainge at the time so she named her Ainge after him. She never stopped hissing at us until the end. She wanted to let us know who was boss. Gail

I Ainge's case, I guess looks could be deceiving! She was very beautiful. I would definately want to cuddle her. She looks so soft and fluffy in this picture. I'm so sorry for your loss but it sounds like you had 19 years of love from your "Spit Fire".

Good Morning Friends!!!!
Have a wonderful weekend. Check out my comment for yesterday, #70. Maybe something to consider in the future.

gail sorry for youe loss of your baby she is beautiful in this photo i love her colors

Yes she was beautiful. Hard to keep neat and tidy. Wouldn't let us brush or comb her, so she would get matted at times. She would walk around with a matt on her until it fell off. No one dared to try to get it off. Would need a suit of armor to do it. Very sharp claws.

What a beautiful girl she was! She definately looks feisty in the photo! She's probably lording it over everyone at the Rainbow Bridge...

THM, your site is precious! Your cats see alive in their narration of their lives. Toby and Till have such different personalities! I can't decide who I like better! A great read!

Good morning, everyone.

Ainge was certainly a beautiful girl. So sorry for the loss, 19 years is a long time. Sure you will miss those bites and scratches and hisses and that mean spirit. Bet the Rainbow Bridge will never be the same now that Ainge is there...!

And yes, how could I forget Squentin, he was one of my favorites.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Ainge was beautiful. She is in "kitty heaven" taking charge! You were blessed to have her for 19 years!

Rosie it is just the camera angle. Her paws were fine. That was one of her favorite places the rug is in front of the fireplace.

I would have picked the little feisty one, too. I'm sorry you lost her. She was a beautiful girl.

I don't remember all of the lyrics to that song - maybe I just never heard the whole thing - but I'm not looking at anyone funny. I've had that feeling myself.

Happy holiday weekend to everyone!

We couldn't even get near her tummy. Luckily I never had to give her medicine. I don't know how I would have.

Oh sweetie, it's ok to be sad. You have many friends here on this site who know what you're going through. This site is like a tribute in many ways. You can come here to laugh and cry and everyone will be here for you and celebrate your Ainge. Thanks so much to you and Gail for letting us have a peek into the life of your kitty!

Oh my gosh. Those are some the best, most amazing kitty pictures I've ever seen. What a fabulous display of cats' beauty and strength. And a pretty darn good job for the photographer to catch them in mid-air.

I'm bookmarking this one. Thanks for the tip Kat.

Sorry to here about Ainge, she was a beauty, even if she had an attitude problem. Like her nose.

I was reading the rest of the comments from yesterday, and yes, I talk to my cats too. My husband does also, we are mommy and daddy, when I leave for work, I tell them all individually bye and that I love them, and when I come home I tell them hi and ask them how there day was...I know crazy. They are my kids, my husband and I don't have children, and have no plans to have any, so my cats are my babies, and I treat them as such, my husband has drawn the line at hiring a sitter for them when we leave the house though...

I know the song you sing also, my best friends dad used to walk around the house singing it when we were kids, I catch myself singing it every once in awhile too...uh oh.

ok gals, that song is hysterical as was the singer. sometimes i think i need to play it while i am at work. sometimes i wish they would take me away! LOL

gail - ainge is beautiful. her fur does look soft and fluffy. love the markings on her nose. i will be praying for you & your family these next few weeks or so. it is so hard to lose a baby (especially after 19 years). just remember all of the good memories and think of her waiting for you at the rainbow bridge.

Those airborne cats are really something. Love how their little back toesies are stretched out when they jump. Great shots.

kim - i like your idea of that place near branson. sounds like a great place to meet. maybe next summer or even labor day weekend when it is a bit cooler. heck, we could even do it in 2008 to give everyone plenty of time to get the funding together. i think i can manage to put away a couple of bucks a week. i probably have that much in change.

tower hill mob - loved your site. i saved it in my favorites. when will we see kitty pics of the other one (tilly)?

Hi! Thank you all for all your kind thoughts. We know she is in a better place and now she is with her son who passed away before her. She is probably hissing at him right now as she always did when he walked by her.

So sorry to hear such a beauty has passed on. Gail I am sure that Ainge will live on forever in your heart. Her special place there in your heart remains the same as before. Sympathy to you, even though there are bites and scratches in her memory.
