Good morning! Hi Kneesa! What a pretty girl! And she gets to chase the horses around! Makes me think of that video where the cat chases the bear! lol

Linda L. - How old is Kneesa?

Kim said...

Oh what a pretty picture! She is posing so nice for the camera. Princess Kneesa, I think you're a very beautiful lady! Your eyes, you coloring, your personality, everything about you is just lovely. And you live in France and chase horses, puts me in mind of one of the romance movies from abroad. Linda, your kitty is precious!

Good Morning All!

Good morning kat & kim!!!!!!!!! I know, I know, you're like, WTF???? She's up this early? Whats wrong???? LOL Well, I'm taking a day off, but I AM trying to get an appointment with an opthamologist (sp?). I think my actual eye is swollen. I wear contacts to see.... and now all that old talk about the fungus from the contact solution has me worried.... anyhow, I posted since I was here-I came in to turn in some work from yesterday.... figured I should post while I can :) See you guys tomorrow!

Kneesa is such a wonderful girl!!!! LOL I can't believe she chases horses XD ..... I wonder how she got that name....... I also wonder, is she a purebred Himi???

kat, I have a surprise for you... come over to PdJ.....

Good morning Linda L. good morning Kneesa.

You are a very pretty girl, I love your markings and the color of your beautiful eyes.

Has Kneesa every tried to ride on top of one of the horses? That would be a site. Kiara likes to sit on my daughters back and she will crawl around on all fours while Kiara just sits there looking like the Queen of Sheba.

Kneesa looks soft and sweet, give her kitty kisses for me.

Kneesa is a very beautiful girl. Love the eyes. I wonder can she round them up? That would be cool.

Good morning all!!!!!!!!!

Have a great day!!!!!!!

I know not everyone likes stuff on my cat but YOU HAVE TO CHECK IT OUT!!!!!! (I waws just making a demand in a nice way) there are three great pictures. Make sure you go all the way to the bottom.

Good morning (very early good morning!) from the west coast.

Hi Kneesa!

Oh my, but she is beautiful. Just gorgeous. I, too, have always liked Himis. The combination of coloring and fur is amazing. You've got quite the sweetie there Linda :-)

ML (Mary Lynn) said...

Good Morning all, from the Texas Gulf Coast...what a beautiful cat Princess Kneesa is. She is indeed royalty. Imagine, living in France, running free in a pasture with horses. What a life! A little bread, wine and cheese for lunch. She is a beauty. And look at that pose.

Claire said...

She certainly is tres jolie. And what a brave cat she is chasing the horses. I guess she has to keep her "subjects", the horses, under control. True royalty. Love her coloring.

donna said...

OK, the kittens on mommy-cat; cats on cats; puppies on cats...those are cute!

So, are the people who put all the little donuts on their cat still going to eat them? (At least that's what they looked like to me.)

Did anyone notice that "evil" James' comment is still there on TDK (yesterday's)? And I know I remember Rosie making a comment to him, but her comment is gone. The same nasty comment James made is at the bottom. I thought it was up higher too. Why would the KM delete Rosie's comment and not James' nasty comment?? Confused.

katnippia said...

Princess Kneesa, you are a very beautiful girl. I just love her coloring. I'm sure your mommy spoiles you roten, huh. Thanks for sharing a picture of your princess Linda L.

Kim said...

Kat, the KM did delete his comment, he just and posted the comment again. He's one sick puppy!

momsbusy said...

kat1 - i can post again at work!!!

princess kneesa - your are such a reagal looking girl. i love that proper acknowledging tilt of her head. of course only the countryside of france would do for her. thanks for sharing linda.

momsbusy said...

kat1 - what is up with this james guy on TDK? i checked out his comment near the bottom and it sounded almost like a threat. perhaps he is an angry politician w/ delusions of extreme power. so sad we have people like that in our world.:(

momsbusy said...

would anyone mind if i use their kitties pics as a screen saver? that way i could enjoy everyones babies all the time. i use my cats pics for the wallpaper on my desktop but sure would like a screen saver of all these pretty kitties.

ML (Mary Lynn) said...

I noticed both comments yesterday and that his was gone this morning. He had posted again at the end of the messages.

Loved Rosie's comment back at him. The day before (think) he had left a comment about using a scum-buster on a kitten and Rosie told him what to do with the scum-buster. Can't help but love that Rosie!

Kat, can you "block" posters like that? Don't know why they allow him to make those sick comments. Like someone on TDK said, they come to these sites to relax and enjoy the kitties, not to read comments from some pervert.

ML (Mary Lynn) said...

Hey, Kat, check out Message #5 on TDK right now...about the James character. Weird!

katnippia said...

ml- the kittenmaster told james that he has to play nice. So that might be why he wrote what he did.

Momsbusy, i would mind if u used pics of my 2 boys (Shmay and Taps) for your screensaver.

kat1 - I just love your katscatof the day, and The PDJ site.

riquel said...

Princess Kneesa is adorable! She sure seems like she has the life...but then again what cat (in a loving home)doesn't?!

Momsbusy, Simba would love to be a part of your screen saver (he's in the archives) if you want to use him. :o)

I'M BAAACK, FINALLY!! HRH, The Princess Kneesa is just beautiful, and obviously keeps her subjects and staff well in line. I would love to see her "herding" the horses!

Sorry I missed the weekend here, but I was at a 4 day party for my nephew. Yesterday he graduated from Reed College in Portland, OR. I'm SO PROUD of him!! I'm also so glad that I live only 30 miles away so I could go home to sleep and enjoy the AC. It hit 97 here yesterday, only about 30 above normal.

We had all ages, from the 70 something grandparents of the grad down to the grad's "almost 2" niece. Paul said he didn't think he'd seen so much beer and weed since WE were in our 20's, and that was a looong time ago!! Friday and Saturday we stayed out way to late(but came home straight and sober!) and got the "Bad Staff Award" from Flumpy. Dinner is to be served at 9pm, NOT 1am!! Sunday I went out with all the "young people" and the children; had a wonderful time; and thought I was going to cook from the heat! Yesterday was graduation, and it was glorious!!

I'll be back later, but I think I need a nap--way too much party for this old broad, but I wouldn't have missed it for the world!

One of our grad's housemates also graduated, and his family came in from Texas. He, his parents and his brother are all musicians, so we had wonderful music, from country to Celtic to classic all weekend.

Boy Kneesa you sure do know how to pose. You do look like a regal cat. Love your markings, so pretty.

Momsbusy, feel free to use Casper or Cleo as wallpaper for you desktop.

Have to check TDK as I made a comment right after Rosie's about good for her in her comment to James. It probably has been removed also.

donna said...

Momsbusy, if you like, you are welcome to include Kona, Maddie, or Wiley as part of your screensaver.

Kona is in the March archives here on Kat's site; and Wiley and Maddie are in Rita's March archives over on PdJ.

Good morning, the little one Rosie is doing fine, had us in stiches last night going after her own Shadow. Was hiding this morning under the beg b/c the garbage men were making a lot of noise outside. Woke up several times last night to snores thinking it was my boyfriend, but oh no! It was Rosie.
Love Kneesa...looks just like Shadow.

Kim said...

Mom, going to call you that from now on, go ahead and use Oscar if you would like, he would be honored!

Mumma, going to call you that from now on, sounds like a weekend to remember. I so thrilled that you had such a good time! You sound like you on cloud 9. The kiddos will forgive you, eventually! LOL! Bad staff award, that's a good one.

This "James" situation on TDK is getting out of hand! Good James, Evil James, I don't care. I think they're one in the same person. As for the remark made yesterday, I think it was the imposter. James has said some really stupid stuff but that was horrid!!! The KM must know where the comments are coming from, you have to give your email address in order to leave a comment. It needs to stop though.

OK, soap box safely stored away until next rant! LOL

Meowmepurr's Mumma in Washington State said...

MOM--you are welcome to use Meowmepurr on this site, and Yoda with the Cat growing out of his Butt(on PDJ) in your screen saver.

KIM--"Mumma" works for me! And yes, I had a BLAST, but I'm very tired today.

Think I'll try again for that nap I was talking about!

Kim said...

OK, KM just cleared thing up on TDK. There ARE two James out there. The one they call "Good" James is from England. The "Bad" James is from Washington DC. KM said he can still comment but he has to play nice. At least we know that the sick comments can be tracked!

Emma's Kat said...

Wow, I've missed a lot. Went w/mom to return some things at Dillard's & JCPenney's. And went to lunch w/her. It was nice. So nice outside today too. A little windy, but nice.

Okay, 1st off, so glad to know that there are definately two James. Although, as Kim said, I think one of the James is the Imposter! ML, I don't think you can block comments, just delete them. Seems like there should be a way. I'll check into it. Second, glad you're back Jan and that you had such a good time! Sounds like you had a blast! Third, Moms, you know I don't mind one bit if you want to use any of my kitties. Emma's on PDJ today!!! Yeah! And last but not least, Katnippia, thanks for the complement. And didn't you mean you wouldn't mind? Your comment to ML said, I would mind if you used Shamy and Taps. Figured it was a typo.

Well, I'm off to PDJ to see my Emma girl again.

Kathleen said...

Interesting, just noticed that Rosie was not pictured on the rescue website. Think that means anything??

Kim said...

OK, if you do NOT think that the picture on Kitten Picture is the CUTEST kitten picture you've seen in a long time, I'll just cry! It is so sweet, it looks like the kitten is sucking it's thumb!!!

Kathleen, maybe since your rescue, her picture has been removed? I don't think it means anything bad.

Emma's Kat said...

Lol...Kathleen, some lady named Kathleen adopted her from what I understand. lol

Rose said...

Princess Kneesa (is it pronounced with a hard K or silent K?) looks as if her eyes are Elizabeth Taylor Violet - she is so very beautiful!! And a Feline that would hang with a herd of Equines has always been close to my heart!! I wonder if she uses a rump of one of the steeds in her service to sun herself upon?! Horses have an affinity for cats...and goats!! I knew a horse who had a pet duck (NO KIDDING!)

I had to post to Kittenmaster on TDK about "The James Issue". I suggested he be required to use a username to log on or have his comments deleted...I was very uncomfortable with his exchange with Dee from Tampa today...seems like a pervert...ptoooey!! From the UK...Our Rosie's from the UK,
right? She'll keep him in check if anyone can!! You Go, Girl!

Oh!! David was over today for about an hour tinkering with my computer and TAUGHT ME HOW TO SEND PICS! He had me send him a sample,
the only kitten pic of Emily I have scanned in - really grainy -
and since I haven't had the film developed, but he said the disc thing is offered everywhere...forgive me, my feet are SO planted in the last century!!

Kathleen - I think it's so sweet that Rosie's character is coming out so quickly...goes to show how safe she feels with you!
GOOD VIBES FUZZ!

Rose said...

I just checked back on TDK, and in the time it took me to post here, KM deleted the scary post exchange between James and Dee and MY comment!! I wonder if I'm welcome there anymore for trying to tell KM how to control the James situation! C'est la vie...it's not the same there, I look at the kittens, then come "Home" to Kat's Cat!!

Rose said...

Hey FuZZ Family, I just got an e-mail from the Kittenmaster himself, Fraser Lewry about the comment I posted. He said the best thing is to ignore "Bad" comment's and he'll eventually go away...still, he spoils our fun, or at least MY fun by rattling my cage...

ML (Mary Lynn) said...

I like TDK, that was how I found Kat's Cat and Pet DJ, which I love!!! Cute kittens, but sometimes I hate to read the posts, kinda defeats the relaxing mode of kitten browsing.

BTW, how can you possibly overlook the sheer abundance of FB's in the Flicr Box??? It is mindboggling! Wow.

riquel said...

I know what you mean Rose, I still check the DK, but I like the blog here better, everybody seems to know everybody here, and nobody is weird or creepy...well at least not too weird...LOL. Can't wait to see what Kat has for us tomorrow!

ML (Mary Lynn) said...

Oh, and Missy can pick out Casper's picture in the Flicr box. I clicked on it and she jumped on the desk to get a better look. She'll always move over and look to see Casper. Tell you, those two could have been an item a few years ago (and a couple of surgeries ago...).

Kathleen said...

ML-that is too cute, don't know their history.
It doesn't appear that Rosie ever was on the site, a girl that was adopted later that day is still pictured, with a note "Pending adoption". Guess it doesn't matter. Question: thinking of going back and adopting Caesar (who is on the site if you want to see a picture), he's a 2 year old grey. What would be the appropriate time to allow Rosie to adjust?

riquel said...

Hey, I know that most of us here are Fuzz Fans, but do any of you ever go and check out the Daily Puppy? They have the cutest pictures over there, and from the comments that are left, it doesn't seem like they get alot of visitors..most pics usually have less than 20 comments a day...anyway just feeling bad for the puppies that don't have as big of fan base as the kitties do, so I thought I would talk them up. :o)

Emma's Kat said...

Kathleen - In my opinion, it might be best to give Shadow a couple of weeks at least. Depending on how comfortable she is showing you she is. She may really like having another kitty around though. Do you know if she was in a single kitty home before or did she have playmates? How old is Rosie (the kitty)? I feel like I'm talking about Rosie (who else?). Weird...lol!

Kim said...

Kathleen, maybe now would be a good time to adopt another cat. We adopted two cats, soon after each other, when I was a kid. They got to know each other as well as their surroundings, together. They were the closest cats that I have ever seen. They had that kinship of being new together.

Riquel, I visit the daily kitten and there are even fewer comments, usually no more than three or four. I guess I should check out the puppies too, I do love doggies, I'm just a real cat person.

Rose, I had a comment removed from TDK once. The "Imposter" had taken on Kat's identity and said some horrid things!!! I told him to go away and leave everyone alone, that Kat would never say those things, Yadda, Yadda, Yadda. So the KM took away the bad comment and mine. I never did get an email though. You're special, LOL!

Kathleen said...

Slip there with Shadow :)
I don't know where she came from prior to being dumped at the shelter. At the rescue place, there were about 20 other cats and she seemed fine around them. The vet has guestimated her at 2+
(BTW, is anyone a Gray's Anatomy fan? Last night's episodes were too hard to watch with Meredith have to put her dog down-wept like a baby!)

ML (Mary Lynn) said...

Okay, I've completely confused myself, possible a few others as well. Let me try and back track.

Kathleen, there must be a Caesar on your web adoption page??? Sure would like to see it, wish it had Rosie's picture on it. Of course, I got the names confused. I meant Missy Blue Eyes knows CASPER's picture!

CASPER was Kat's Cat 3/24. They look very much alike, too. Casper is listed in the FLICKR Box of FB Allstars (which is too cute) and Missy spotted him immediately -- she's in there, too. I can click on his photo and she'll get up to come look at him. Weird and cool. They could have been a couple a few years/surgeries ago, would have had precious kittens. Think of the FB's their kittens could have inherited!!! Sigh.

Kim said...

Kathleen, I made my comment thinking that Rosie (you're right Kat, this is wierd!) is a kitten. Maybe Kat is right. Our's were kittens when we got them ALL THOSE YEARS AGO! LOL! I'm definatly not an expert when it comes to cats, just a lover of them. Kat has a lot of experience with being a foster sponser.

Emma's Kat said...

Kathleen, If Rosie was used to and seemed okay around the other cats at the rescue group, and the fact that she's only 2ish...she might be okay w/adopting another, Caesar in this case, right away. Just follow you instincts. Anxious to see her again (hint hint...pix). I saw her on the rescue site, but I don't remember what she looked like.

Kathleen said...

The only urgency is that Caesar is being looked at this weekend, but I don't want to rush Rosie. She wasn't on the site but Caesar is. Getting her photos and duck and fish photos for Pet du Jour done this week. My duck photo is of my parent's now deceased Himi Funny Face, who I was catsitting and a duckling that I was handraising, Winnie. Boy that was an interesting 2 weeks! Winnie wanted to play but Funny Face was having nothing with it!

casper's mom said...

Riquel after checking all cat sites I check out dailypuppy. Some of them are so cute. I sign in there as Amber's Mom.

Mary Lynn I am amazed that Missy can pick Casper's picture out. Maybe she thinks she is looking in a mirror or something. She sure is one smart cat. Again, yes it would have been neat to see their kittens.

ML (Mary Lynn) said...

It is sort of surprising, because I look at a lot of cats online, when I'm taking a break. Missy KNOWS Casper. I'm telling you. It's strange. I thought about the mirror thing, too. She's probably thinking, look at that beautiful cat (which looks like her). Ha-ha.

ML (Mary Lynn) said...

Also want to see Karen C's "swimmy turtles the size of cereal bowls" on PDJ.

donna said...

Hi Riquel, I usually check out the DailyPuppy too. Spikey (or is it Spike?) the Yorky is still my favorite.

However, I do like dogs and most pet animals, but I simply love cats so much more.

Kathleen said...

ML-saw Casper, how beautiful!
Riquel-Rosie looks a lot like Simba sans fur!

DEBBIE =^..^= said...

MY GOODNESS, WHAT A BEAUTY! LOOKS LIKE MY MAXWELL, BUT PRETTIER. DON'T TELL HIM THOUGH.

Karen C. said...

Princess Kneesa is beautiful - she even looks French. I can imagine her meowing with a French accent, like on The Aristocats.

(My favorite from Daily Puppy was Tatyanna the Siberian Husky.)

ML - I'm trying to get pictures of the turtles, but I haven't gotten any good ones yet. With water, glass and a heat lamp, you get lots of distortion and too much light reflected. I'll keep trying.

Karen C. said...

I just went to the persiancats.org site to see Caesar, who is very beautiful. Of course I looked at all the kitties, and then I clicked on the link on the left for shelter cats available. At the end is a 7 year old Persian named Belinda who is one of the most gorgeous kitties I've ever seen - and her horrid owners had sent her to the vet to be put down because they were tired of taking care of her! It made me cry. I wish I could take her home.

Kathleen said...

Karen, I'll have to take a look-where is she? Maybe I can get her.

Karen C. said...

Kathleen - on the left is a link saying "available shelter cats". It takes you to a page of cuties available at shelters and other rescue places in the same area. She's down at the bottom - Belinda. I love her!

Kathleen said...

Oh my goodness, she is adorable!! I hadn't even looked at the link before now. Does this mean, I'll spend my night with Rosie on my lap trolling through each picture and story...I need a bigger place!

Karen C. said...

Oh, please get her! She needs you! Rosie needs a friend! (and I need to shut up - LOL) Really, though, I feel SO bad for her. Such a sad thing to happen to such a beautiful cat. Thank God the vet contacted the rescue people. If I didn't already have 3 cats (which is 3 more than my landlord allows), I'd rent a car and drive up and get her. I've got to move.

ML (Mary Lynn) said...

I just checked, Belinda is a beauty. She is gorgeous.

Kathleen, is Rosie the Red your Rosie -- on the Adopted page?????

Kim said...

Belinda is BEAUTIFUL!!! OMG!!!! How could anyone be so thoughtless and cruel?! You know who else is pretty is Lorna the Calico. There were so many, how do you choose?

Karen C. said...

I've made Belinda my wallpaper, though it's hard to get my work done now. I keep looking at her and praying that she finds a home. My sister lives near (in Bodega), but has 2 large dogs who don't do well with cats. I'll go back and check out Lorna now...

Kim said...

kitten-picture.blogspot.com

you have GOT to check out this site everyone! The kitten is SO CUTE!!!!!

Emma's Kat said...

Hey! What is the site address? I don't have it anymore, and I wanna see Belinda and Lorna too!!

Karen C. said...

Kim - you're right, Lorna is a pretty one. She's very fluffy and I love her expression. Also, the baby on kitten picture is adorable!

I was thinking about Belinda all the way home. I kept picturing that sad look on her face and thinking about those evil people who brought that beautiful fluff in to the vet and said to put her down. I was so stressed out, I got off the freeway 5 miles away from where I should have exited. I'm not sure why I'm so obsessed with this one cat in particular. So many have sad lives and need a good home, but Belinda really gets to me.
