Indigo

This is Indigo. She is an 8 year old grey tuxedo. She is very spoiled, and very jealous. She has grown up with Munchkin, and they get along really well, and she tolerates Simba, but she is counting the days until Charlotte grows up and gets a place of her own. She is very playful, loves feather toys, and she can jump higher than any cat I have ever seen! She loves to lay in your lap, or on the arm of the couch, where she looks like a jaguar in the trees. We also call her our "camel cat", because when she lays on the floor she pulls her paws back and beside her, and looks like a camel does when it is laying down. We call her our "Go-go girl" for short. -Riquel

Good Morning All! Happy Father's Day!!!

Go-Go Girl is so soft and cuddly looking! She's a beauty! She sounds like lots of fun and I bet with her around, there's never a dull moment. What a great kitty family you have Riquel!

Indigo, you "go girl"! What a beauty!

Good morning Fuzz Pack. I haven't had internet access for about 10 days and I was missing seeing all your beautiful babies!

Boo and TC made the trip from Costa Rica just fine. They were a little freaked out but no worse for the wear, thank God. They are now safely ensconced back in Las Vegas. We're temporarily in an apt. while we look for a house to buy and they don't like not having a fenced yard to roam but they do have big windows to gaze out at the birds and watch the world go by so they're OK.

Hope all the Dads have a wonderful father's day!

Indigo, you are a very pretty girl.I'll bet you're glad to have your Daddy home, too.

And WELCOME HOME, JUDY! I'm happy your fuzz babies got through the trip with no ill effects.

Nothing exciting here, it's HOT!! I had all my outdoor chores done by 8am, and glad to be done! I'm going to go hang with Mother and watch the race. Chat later this afternoon!

Indigo is very beautiful. Love her coloring -- the deep grey and white and widdle pink paw pads. Her fur looks so thick. What a pretty go-go girl. Who is that orange kitty on the stairs? Is he trying to get into the picture?

Happy Father's Day to Fuzz Dads everywhere!

Morning (afternoon?) all!

Hi Indigo!

Indigo is beautiful. I love tuxedo type kitties, no matter the color.

"'allo! My name is Indigo Go-Go Girl. You teased me with the feather toy. Prepare to be attacked."

LOL Donna! That's one of my favorite movies! The Princess Bride lives on!

Donna - That is too funny! I am w/Kim!

ML - You can see the orange kitty, Simba, in the March archives. How is Bear?

ML (Mary Lynn) said...

Yeah, Donna. Yeah, Princess Bride.
I'll look Simba up.
Bear is doing well. The medication is agreeing with her, which is good. My neighbor, Kathy, had a poodle that just died at 17 years. Cherie was a teacup poodle and she had an enlarged heart.
Right now I am just going to enjoy each day I have with her and make sure when the time comes, she doesn't suffer at all.

Ohmigosh, just went back to the March archives, I remember Simba, beautiful orange. Full of "cattitude", love the pose. Isn't that Indigo in the background? Little camera hogs they are!

I wasn't sure if the changed words would still be recognizable for the reference. Obviously you are all as much a Princess Bride fan as I am. As soon as I saw her name, I thought of Inigo from the movie. :-)

ml, I'm glad to hear that Bear is doing OK. You are doing the right thing. She'll let you know. The hard part, the very hardest part, is recognizing it. Peace and love Bear.

How is Sweetie? Did I miss any news about her?

she's beautiful and sounds like a lot of fun.

Donna - My parents took her in Saturday morning. So Sweetie is at peace and in pain no more. My mom had a hard time, but she knew it was the right thing to do. Sweetie had suffered in pain enough. My mom has read the Rainbow Bridge poem before, but I might make her a copy of it. Let us know when you post pix to your site. Anymore digital videos?

Hi Kat,

I'm so sorry to hear about Sweetie. Tell your mom she's in our thoughts.

I'm working on the site now for a "travelogue" and getting pictures together. It's taking me longer than I thought (plus I didn't get started until late this afternoon!).

I haven't gotten back to the videos for awhile. After I get our trip up...

What about you? Any luck in getting videos recorded and up on KCotD?

:-)

No luck w/videos. I don't think blogger allows it? I tryed uploading a video one time, but haven't really messed w/it since then. That's a good question for ML.

Indigo is so cute, she deserves to be spoiled. Those sure do look like the legs of a talented jumper. Hello again to cute Simba!

I got the Princess Bride reference - LOVE that movie. That's one of the few movies that was every bit as good as the book, maybe better in some ways (I didn't get to see Cary Elwes in the book). Did anyone else read the book?

Please convey my sympathies to your mother about Sweetie. I know how hard it is to lose a beloved pet. Sweetie is now out of pain and will be waiting at Rainbow Bridge for your mom. I'm so sorry for her loss.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers to my mom w/Sweetie's passing. She really appreciated it!
