This site was created with The Daily Kitten in mind. I as many others, wanted a site for adult cats too. So here it is. Please click on the link below and send pictures of your grown-up kitties. I will pick and choose a different cat to post everyday. Thanks and enjoy! Kudos to ML!!

Good morning! It's the weekend yet again! Gonna be a busy day this morning...folding clothes! So much fun too! But my sis and me are going out tonight, so, clothes I can handle. Well, off to start breakfast!
Love this picture, btw! Can't remember who sent it in what email, when, but I've been looking to find a picture to go with this quote!! Tease...I mean chat later! Where'd tease come from, huh?
This is a great quote! The picture goes with it perfectly!
And their off, let the teasing begin!
Good Morning Fuzz!
I know your dirty little secret! HEE HEE HEE!
Deb, guess what?! You're the next to be TT&T!!!! MUHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
What do you think Kat, should we just as bad with Deb?!!!
"And the Beat Goes On!" HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! LMAO!!!!!
OH MY GOODNESS!! You HAVE to check out the kitten today at Kitten Picture Blog! Chris always finds the greatest pictures of kittens!!! This one is just so precious!!!
Good Day, Fuzz Family!
I love that picture, too! Some people just have a camera at the right time and place and snap a picture...I wonder if they know that picture's going be seen by countless people who will have a smile over it...Isn't that a great thing, spreading smiles around?!
I've always loved that quote, too...my oldest brother, the Sadistic Cat Hater? I always went to my room and my FuZZez and thought how I COULDN'T WAIT for his next life as a mouse!
I did some work on my blog - got stuck on a question that I know I should know BUT...ML, What is a URL???? I know I have one, but I don't know where to find it! It's probably with my missing socks and several billion brain cells that went missing recently!
I'll be checking in, taking my lashings like a good victim...
TT&T...Torture, tease and torment...did I get it right?!
Since ML is a victim now, can I be initiated into the TT&T Club??!
I really do love you to pieces, ML!!
I think I have to go to cut my nails...it's either that, or my keyboard IS in end-stage something...
TTFN!!
Rose, the URL is the web adres for your blog. Your's should be http://fuzz-zone.blogspot.com/
cecilia, thank you! I tried Rose and the Royals, but it didn't take...I guess Blogger recognizes the site as Fuzz-Zone...gotta check it out! Thanks again!
Rose, just got up "YES".
I'll send you a tutorial later today on how to change the actual blogsite name, okay. Gotta run right now, am late for a few errands.
It's easy-- like everything else on the computer -- once you know how. It's that knowing that is such a problem! The worst part is having to notify the other parties who list your blogsite of the name change.
See you guys later.
PS: I vote for Kat for TT&T next!
[evil laugh]
Really? We thought you let us have a blog cause you loves us so furry much - that's what you told US anyway. So, people, you did a great job of TT&T to our Lady an she got her surprise an she LOVES IT so thanks specially to ML fur findin it an sendin it an thanks to effurryone else fur playin along wif the secret cause it was fun! The Lady is gonna take a picture of us wif her beautiful pillow 'cept she's gonna make sure Cocoa's teeth stay away from the buttons cause he's a big time biter of stuffs. She says she's gonna post the picture on our bloggie after she takes it. If you wanna see pictures of me wif my new nip toy, you can go to our bloggie today.
Grr
(that furrst part of our post was to our Lady)
Hello all...I love this pic too...and thanks for the reminder about our foster family needing homes. Sadie now has a family of her own, but Lovey, Cosmos and Torti need placed, so anything anyone can do is GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks everyone!

Okay, Rose, Karen C and Kat, I emailed you a little Step by Step cheatsheat (with screenshots) on how to change the blogsite name (i.e., www.fuzz-zone.blogspot.com). The "real deal", not the Previous Posts name (i.e., "Good Morning, Loyal Subjects!...")
I'm thinking about posting these little "cheat sheets" on a separate blog so you can refer to them as needed, what do you all think???
Maybe making a couple for the basics, like getting started, adding photos, adding a photo to your comments???
Let me know what you think of this idea and what you would like to see there.
ML, YES, please do that!!!! I can use all the help I can get with my blogs!
Did someone say my name earlier?? I though I heard it. Oh well! Hum hum hum hum hum hum hum secret... ;P
ML
Just used your "cheat sheet" to change the blog name officially, and IT WORKS!!
so, now it's
www.RoseandtheRoyals.blogspot.com
I'll send out e-mails, too!
Thanks Again!!
ml, a blog with cheatsheet info would be great. i'm not good at this blog stuff yet. i can post but not some of the other stuff.
ML - The next subject for your cheat sheets, needs to be how to add links on the tease...er, template. Kim's not sure on how to do this and I was gonna set up a test site, but you could add it to the Cheat Sheet site. Btw, I couldn't get my F11 key or the Print Screen button to work. Oh well. Not worried about it.
Kat,
First, the F11 Key: While in IE, press the F11 key. You should see some of the toolbars across the top disappear. Press it again to make them reappear.
Or from the Menu Bar, select VIEW, then FULL SCREEN (note it says F11 beside it, a hint how to restore the screen). Going thru the VIEW menu really clears that screen.
Second, the Print Screen Key: Pressing Print Screen only sends a copy of the current visible screen to the Windows Clipboard. You are on your own to manipulate it after that.
You can go into any graphic application (such as Microsoft Paint, PhotoShop, IrfanView) and click on EDIT, PASTE (or use Ctrl+V) to insert the contents of the Clipboard. You can also insert (via PASTE or Ctrl+V) into MS Word, Excel, etc.
There are also a bunch of 3rd party clipboard utilities on the internet.
Hope this helps. Sorry it's so long, get really carried away talking (or posting) about cats or computers!
I'll work on the ADDING LINKS Step by Step tutorial next. It's more of a challenge because you actually have to go into the raw HTML code. Kat, you've been there, you know what a mess it is.
The links are already included in the template, in theory ALL you have to do is find them (they are near the end) and then edit/add in your own.
That's why I had suggested a Fuzz Family Link List -- up to date and inclusive -- that you could merely cut and paste into your template, then edit out any you didn't want :( and add in whatever else you wanted.
And, thanks to all of you (again), I have the beginnings of my next article. Cat blogging, using bloggers, etc. Yippppeeeee!
Hey, Rose, heard any good secrets lately? Checked your mailbox? Oh, wait, that's a couple of days away...! Never mind!
Love you gals, you are so entertaining. Doggone can't TT&T Karen C. but Rose you are still up for that "dirty little secret." ML when you e-mail any info on stuff for the blogger will you please remember me as I will probably need that kind of help down the line. I want to put Links on caspers blog and haven't figured it out yet. Probably one very easy thing and I can't see it.
Karen C. What a darling pillow. Bet poor Grr, Midnight and Cocoa will not be able to sleep on it. Probably get their picture on it and up it goes. Cocoa, you be a good kitty and don't get your teeth on the pillow
Evening, all!
I've been playing with copy and paste most of the day...getting a kick out of it, although poor Deb's going to be getting something of a Multiple Puuursonality Disorder e-mail! And FOR SHAME ON ME!!! The Queen Mother didn't even properly identify Marigold in the picture-I thought it was Brutus! In any event, I went and submitted it to TDK, with a bio for BRUTUS! Then, I resubmitted it, and wrote to kittenmaster about my mistake, SO Brain Dead am I!
Another good bit of news! I got a ceramic kitty! An orange one named Daisy! I was hoping I'd get her.
...get it? Daisy...Marigold...
ah well...
Shut My Mouth if I didn't think I got that DLS* Package today! I opened it and it was a bag of treats called "feline Greenies", designed to clean teeth and freshen breath...Of course, Brutus'
antennae goes up when I open the bag now, but Marigold and Emily could take it or leave it...guess like all us females, keeping an eye on our girlish figures...some of us keep an eye on it heading south, but we're always keeping an eye on it...anyway, I finally remembered where the treats came from. Dee from Tampa put a link to the company offering free samples...I'll have to find it, brb
think it's www.greenies.com or www.smarttreater.com OR info@greenies.com...
Kat, Thank You for putting Rose and the Royals on your links site!
Well, think I'll watch a bit of telly; my face is sore, wearing these glasses almost 12 hours now!
I don't know what I did with my time before I got this computer past January!
be checking in later. not enough TT&T today!!
AAAHHH, but dear Debra Taylor, you are the teasee!!!! Or at least one of them. You're not immune in the least my dear friend. So what do you think of that?!!!
Where's Donna? Has anyone heard from her? I think Danni asked about her the other day too. I hope all is well at the Rode household.
And Rosie, where the H E double hocky sticks is Rosie? Rose, tell Madame to get her but back here and say hello to everyone.
Yes, I have another blog. It's more of a "whatever" type of site. I'm writing about whatever tickles my fancy. I have written two today that have disappeared everytime I've tried to edit them. So I've given up for the day and will start again tomorrow. One good thing, part of my post is still there, waiting for me to finish it. As it turns out, it's all about you girls.
I won't be up late this eventide. I'm tired, down in the dumps, and miss my Mommy. I hate going to New Orleans but miss seeing my parents. I can't wait until they retire and move somewhere up here.
See, even this post is a downer, sorry. I'll go eat some worms right now. LOL! Hey, Kat went out tonight and didn't bring us along!!! Going to have to give her what for tomorrow!!!! LOL!!!
Monica, you're great. I just had to say that. SO are you Rose, ML, Deb, all of you!!!! You truly are wonderful!
Deb, that's so sweet! And I'm so glad your Mom was having a good day!! I know the people in the home loved seeing Rocky!
No dear, you gotta take it just like everybody else! HEE HEE HEE HEE!!!
"...my dirty little secret..."
Nope, already ate them. LOL!!!
You know, it's funny, Simon is not a catnip cat. But fat, I mean, fluffy, ole Oscar is!!! I'm having a ball just sitting here, watching my cat fall in love!!!
Deb! Are you whining!!?? Well...go ahead! It won't affect the Triple T effect!! Ha! Go listen to the theme song and...be prepared!
I should have immunity.
Has Deb left the party?!
I should have immunity.
No ML, no one is immune!!! LOL!
Good Night ladies, see you tomorrow!
Oh, by the way, everytime I see MBE, I think it's Casper!
You'll have to check out Missy's and Casper's blogs, honestly, I can't tell them apart. Except that Casper has some "cattitude" in his face, sort of a "damn I'm good" look (and he is).
Well, wish you all could think of something to post other than Triple T, TT&T, secret(s), [evil laughter]...you get what I'm saying.
Kat -- "think turtle".
What the heck is that supposed to mean???????
Oh, Deb, just when I thought it was safe to read your stupid post. For shame on you, using a tiny innocent puppy to lure someone into a false sense of security. Shame, shame, shame.
It's really not so much fun to be on the other side of all this. Really not fun at all.
YOU TOLD MISSY!!! AND BEAR!!!
[...whining...]But not me.
Fuzz Pack, Deb told Missy and Bear. Can you believe that.
Ladies, for goodness sake, get some sleep!!! If my kids were more considerate, I'd still be in bed now! But as luck would have it, I've been up for half and hour already. They got me up at 5:30!!! Why do they torment me so?!!!
Good morning! Oh, Kim! 5:30!! So sorry for you! Well, I gotta start gettin' everyone movin'! Big day today! We're having a surprise b-day party for my Granny at our church! Wow, another "dirty little secret"! She doesn't know anything about it! Kinda just like Rose, ML and ::drum roll:: now DEB!
MUAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Bye4now!
Kat, that sounds like so much fun!!! I hope you have a wonderful time!
It's Sunday a.m. and Bear has me up for a few hours.
Guess I was feeling so, uh, tormented yesterday I failed to mention how much I enjoyed the quote and picture Kat posted.
Check out Grr, Cocoa & Midnight's blogsite to see pictures of the new Catnip Pillows they got. Unfortunately, there was only one pillow, a Huge Mistake which has since
been corrected.
Don't know what is going on around here, Missy and Bear keep humming and whispering...????
Don't you wish blogger had spell check for comments?! I'll forgive you if you'll forgive me. I'm a horrible speller! Honestly, I'm not unedumacted! Just so you know, I spelled that wrong on purpose! LOL!
I took a little nap on the couch. Casey curled up with me while we were all laying on the couch, watching cartoons. Next thing I know, an hour and a half has passed. Oops! I was so tired!!!
Deb, GREAT PICTURES!!!!!
Happy Sunday, my FuZZ Family!
Just wanted to check in to say hi to everyone. I did something to my neck that is sharing it's pain with the center of my spine. Dr.Deb, is that some kind of sciatica? I may need a referral to Dr.No. He seems obsessed by needles, but the relief you feel is worth it. When I was around 6, my father took me to a doctor for an earrache. I was terrified of needles, and cried the whole time, until the doc produced a syringe of penicillin, and told my father to pull my undies down...well, this kid wasn't having it, I screamed "I'm allergic to needles!!" and went running out of the office and to the car. I was victorious, no shot that day. But what was uncanny, was that a year later, I got strep throat, and our new doctor prescribed Penicillin in a liquid form. At the end of the day, I came all out in hives. My mother called the doc, and he said I was allergic to penicillin and to stop giving it to me, just as I was beginning to like the taste of the stuff! So, see, I was right about "being allergic to needles"! I've had all sorts of needles, and IV's and PICC lines and biopsies etc etc...I watch the phlebotomist stick me for a blood draw, I don't care anymore.
Kat, your mom must be wearing a grin from ear-to-ear 'bout now! Wish her "Many Happy Returns" from The Royals!
I'll check in later with you all...
TTFN!
OH ML!
Happy Sunday!
I just had a wee question for you...::heh-heh::...I want to change the "about me" section on my blog, because it's So Long, and I got this concerned e-mail from Rosie advising me NOT to get another kitten! I didn't know what she meant, and then this morning, at the bottom of the paragraph I say "we're looking to adopt another kitty"...We Be Done for now 'dopting kitties! UNTIL! I hit the Mega Millions, get a nice little Cape Cod house on at least 5 acres and build a nice cage free felines environment for Fuzzez needing furrever homes...I'll also have a pasture for aged horses to live their lives out in, and an on-call vet, the works!
Okay, I really have to give my new book a good read, I'll drop by later...
TTFN!
Well Deb, I've been Fetching Prince Brutus out of the 'fridge on a regular basis...he's started going way back, like, tries to hide behind the egg carton? Since the neck pain sort of starts on the right side, I'll bet bending down the wrong way and reaching in to get him with my right hand probably did something...thank you for the advice! I only have aspirin today, but I can get ibuprophen from the pharmacy tomorrow (they deliver) That really IS the best all around pain med, and I'd rather not take my PRN if I don't have to...
Karen, I've heard of that scar treatment that Deb recommended, it's supposed to be really good. When I was in the hospital, a resident suggested it for my surgical scars, but since that procedure was only a laparoscopy, there are 4 of these teeny dime shaped scars, next to the 10" open incision straight down my abdomen!
Well, Dr Norland (the resident) was the sweetest doc-in-training I'd had, not to mention - HOT!
He meant well...
Just started reading "the South Beach Diet" and the shopping list for the first 2 weeks always looks extensive on a new diet! But this one seems realistic, repeating the same "staples" every other day, etc. Shouldn't cost much to get stocked for that...I just have all this pasta in my pantry, and I LOVE MY PASTA!! Maybe David and his mom (yet another Rose - rabid Yankees Fan, so definately no Yankees Bashing around her!) You can bash them all you like around David-he likes Cincinnati (sp).
Right now it's 97F with a heat index of 100F...gonna be worse tomorrow and that day - Tuesday -
through to Saturday at least...
this is the week when every NYC news station takes turns using "SUMMER IN THE CITY" as a sign off tune...any of yo remember that song??? A dozen Imaginary Chocolate-Macadamia Nut Cookies to the first person who can recite the first line!!!
I'll beee baaackkk!
BTW ML, Bear told Amber all about the secret and Missy told Casper so they are running around here LOL.
Hey, Happy Birthday to Kat's Grandma. Hope she had a real royal surprise and had a lot of fun.
Oh BTW Kim, it's because they are kids that's why they torment you. I think you have such a nice looking family. Guess I can't remember everything before I push that publish button today. So it's MPS for me.
Hot town summer in the city, back of my neck getting dirty and gritty. Been down, isn't it a pity, doesn't seem to be a shadow in the city...
Love that song as a kid. I was there -- Lovin' Spoonful! Yeah.
That's not what Bear and Missy are humming, however....
Hey, way to go ML!!!
Give that woman some Imaginary Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies!!!
HooooRaaaaa!
Yea ME! I finally won!
[blows raspberry...]
eat your heart out, Riquel...!
...now what's that humming noise...
Rose, do you hear humming...????
And Rose, you should be getting your Catnip Package tomorrow or Tuesday. If you haven't seen it, check out Missy's blog and meet Mo, the Catnip Supervisor (he is sooooo cute).
Guess Rose is fixing to have an exciting time this week...there's catnip goodies on the way...a cool ceramic cat, Daisy...and maybe, could it be, something else...?????
[whistling, off key, dirty little secrets...]
ooohhh, ML! You are Sooo Baaaddd!
You're having altogether too much fun at my expense here...oh! The Catnip! I can't wait too see the Royals take their first 'toke'!
Brutus won't be jumping into walls, he'll be hitting the ceiling!!! We can't wait for our 'ramic kitty, Daisy! That will make 3 ginger kitties!
We're not sure what title Daisy will recieve from HM Queen Emily.
She has to consult Burke's Peerage...
I just emailed you a tutorial on changing the About Me portion of your blog. I laugh each time I read it, your plan to add a little brother for Emily. Little did you know back then when you wrote that, huh! You adopted a brother and a sister.
Who told you not to do that. Maybe they meant in addition to the young Royals and Emily (and Daisy)...?
Hey, I'm not bad, just trying to throw some of the heat off of me!!!! Did it work????
Sorry I've not been around much today. Dare I say why, oh what the hell! I was in the pool with Duncan and Casey! It was 97 here too. The pool felt great! I can't wait until we get the inground pool put in, not for two more years though!!! AARRRGGHHH!!!
I'm working on something and will get back with you later. I hopefully will have good news for you all, concerning Simon, very soon.
I'll be bach!!! (sounding like Arnold!)
Deb, you're so right about Karen! She's such a giving person and very pretty to boot! I think what she's doing at that shelter is just wonderful! Those kitty's need someone to show them love!
Good Evening Fuzz Family !!!!!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. I was at a water park majority of the day, and boy was it hot here in Florida. I'm not sure how hot, but it was up there with the humidity.
Karen C.- I have to give you a great big bear hug for being able to volunteer at a shelter. I worked at one for a short time.
Kat - I love the quote for the weekend. I have a magnet that reads. People who hate cats must have been mice in a previous life.
Well, I second, err, third what you all said about Karen C and have a bit to add to that. Not only is Karen C an inspiration, caring, gorgeous, but also extremely smart. Do you know she put together an old (ie, her) computer from parts? No one would help her, so she just went for it. She also got me on IM at the last minute (no pressure there).
So here's more cheers to Karen C, who really does deserve that & more!
Again, if you find someone who wants that adorable sounding kitten, I'll be happy to help with her Continental (thanks Deb & Rose) airfare.
Get some photos of her out here, okay.
I had two tortie sisters that were semi-ferral. They were rescued from a shed where a cat collector had at least 20 other cats/kittens! She fed them and they did have air conditioning and heat in the winter, but that was it! They came around totally in about 4 weeks. Just took patience and lots of pets and love! Then there was Benji and his group. Ferral from the day they were born! All four of the ones I fostered and all the others too, hissed and spit! At 5 weeks they were doing all this. But once you got them in your arms they calmed right down. Again, it took about 4 weeks and they were turned right around from being scared little hissing, spitting babies to sweet affectionate kittens! Time and love is all it takes!
So who has a secret?! I do. And Rose, ML and Deb are all involved in the secret! So, come on girls, I need some help TT&Ting them all!!
MUAHHAHAHA!!
Hi! I sent you an email with all the specifics in it. I'll give you a call tomorrow.
Hi all.
Rose, I just made a donation via PayPal to the Here Kitty Kitty Shelter and told them you had referred me. Deb is going to beat me to the a/c, but they had lots of stuff listed that they need. Thanks for letting us know about that.
So exciting, another kitty coming in. Wow, Deb may have #6. It sounds beautiful from the way Karen described her.
And I've got the address for Oreo's friend who is down on their luck.
Whew, quite the evening. Hope I FINALLY got it all straight.
Good Night, Fuzz Pack.
Tomorrow there will be a new Cat of the Day.
