Sam

Ok, Seaborne needed a friend, so Sam was adopted from Citizens for Animal Protection here in Houston. (West Wing Lovers will recognize the name! "Sam Seaborne") -Deb T.

**Is anyone participating in Secret Paws ?? Click on the link and check them out today and my post there also! It's not too late to join in the fun!**

**ML - Maybe you can figure out how to change the color thru the comments box w/html code. I know you sent me different html codes and they included changing the text color, but I never could get them to work. It would be much fun to include secret messages thru the comments box!! Hehehe! Doesn't take much to entertain me! :P**

Good Morning Sam! What a soft, fluffy, lovey-dovey kind of kitty you are! Very handsome indeed!

Good Morning sleepy head, glad you decided to join us! LOL! In case you're not sure who I'm talking to, it's you Kat! LOL!

Good Morning Fuzz Family! I hope all is well with you and your families! Lets have a great day, shall we?

I second the motion for a great day.

It's NOT raining here this morning, maybe Deb's migraine and my sinus will subside.

Sam is so cute. He is the one I can never remember. He is a very handsome cat.

Deb has a beautiful [big] cat family.

Good morning! Sorry I'm late!! ML, knows why! I can't seem to drag myself into bed!!! And now that there's no reason to get up (school) and the boyz sleep in till 9:30-10:00 o'clock! I'm getting into bed very late! I swear, we're not putting the kids to bed that late either. They are just wearing themselves out all day! Lol!

Ok, sorry Sam! Here's Sam! Last but not least of Deb's clan! He is a cutie and I love his color and flufiness! He reminds me of Marley w/his coloring. Is he a Siamese mix like Marley, Deb? And I couldn't resist as the finale, posting the whole fam together! Such a sweet family, humans included!

By the by, I named our get together the "Fuzz Family Reunion" because of "Family Reunion." Get it, you usually go to a family reunion. It just sounded cute. Our gathering could be called the 1st every, extraordianry, sometimes anual, Fuzz Family reunion! LOL What a mouthful that would be.

How cute!!!! I love this kitty! I tried to make the pic bigger and it did funny things! Who are all the fuzzies on the table?

Your secrets are no longer secret.

Emma's Kat said...

Lol! The fuzzez on the table are Summer, Sassy and Spats! They've already been posted, they're in the archives! And adorable ole Seaborne in the other chair too!

Good Golly! Someone get me a dictionary!!! I am having the worst time spelling lately! By now everyone has figured out that spelling isn't my strong point. You'd never know that I was an AP Lit student! So just overlook the poor grammar and spelling and we'll be fine! LOL!

Kat, couldn't stay up last night so hopefully I'll catch you today. I was SOOO tired last night! Sean has not been sleeping well, ie, I have not been sleeping well. AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!!

Emma's Kat said...

Don't forget to check out the Secret Paws link! I posted there today. I linked directly to the rules posting so when you get there, click on the Secret Paws banner and it'll take you to today's posting!

I agree, ML, Deb has a beautiful fuzzy family. Love the picture where they are all together. The weather here in the Detroit area is fabulous today-sunny with a high of 80 but gasoline prices are also high-$3.099, yuck!!! Oh well, I just filled up but will get over it shortly. Thanks, Deb, for sharing your adorable family with us.

Good Morning Fuzz Family!

Sam is a lovely bowl of cocoa Cool Whip, isn't he?! (I'm planning to buy Ice Cream today and I'm really excited...) I tried a few times to click on the pic of the whole Taylor Fuzz Clan, but what pops up is Seaborne's solo posting!
Kat, I've been a similar sleep pattern, too...but in my case, the Royal young'uns have formed the habit of chasing each other across my bed at about 5:30 AM...when they're finished, this morning it was 6:30, I'll take my meds thinking I'll just "lie down for a bit"...sure...
Hi Kim! I'm sure glad you didn't leave the "u" out one of those misspelled words in that one post up there...;-P Has a tentative date/season of the year been decided yet? It has to be DISCUSSED amongst the moms, because I imagine there's pros and coms to when school's in as opposed to school vacations...
oh ML! You get sinus headache/infections? They're just Miserable! Did I give it you you??!! I can take it back, now...it'll compliment the toothache I have-3 weeks and 4 days until my wisdom tooth is pulled...well, it never did much for my wisdom, anyway.
Clair, it's so sad that on a nice day, you don't feel comfortable just taking a drive because of the artificially high petrol prices.
I should leave politics where it belongs, in the dumpster. I just don't get it why ethanol isn't more widely available...

Well, this post isn't record breaking, but I'll try again later!

TTFN!

Sam is very fluffy and cute! Ragdolls, Himalayans and Birmans all look similar. They are hard to tell apart because they all have point colors like Siamese, except they are fluffy like Persians! I like fluffy!! No, I LOVE fluffy!!

Kat & ML-- Danielle is right--your secret is out! I want to learn how to do secret messages and change the color of the words. I've never used html codes before. How does that work?

Anonymous said...

Yes, Rose, the fuel situation is just one more "daily frustration" for most of us. That is why viewing everyones beautiful cats and kittens helps to raise my "good feeling" level. I'm so grateful for knowing all of you and enjoying the pictures on these sites.

Oscar the Puppy Cat said...

I agree with Rose, why they're not using alternative fuel sorces is just beyond me. The technology is there, its been proven! Wal-Mart is going to alternative fuel at all their gas stations but a date has not been given yet. All of Alan's and my family live in other states and now it's going to be hard to see anyone! OK, ya know what, this is making me angry so I shall change the subject now. Politics is for another time, maybe another site. I don't care to go there.

I suggest the gathering to be in June, July, or August. Just not on June 21st, that's my anniversary. Next year is my 10 year. Maybe we can plan for mid July? That puts it after the 4th and before mid August when my kids go back to school. As for what year, do most people need more than a year to plan? We need a year to plan for sure. Would you all like me to set up a site for the gathering and all things related? That might be easier to keep everyone updated and on the same page.

Emma's Kat said...

Ok, everyone! Picture and link separated(sp?!looks funny) now! You can now view Deb's fuzz fam close up! And get to Seaborne's link to his posting! For some reason the link was attaching itself maybe overriding the html for the pic? ML?

Karen S. - I will email you w/the amazingly easy secret code. What I did on the post was actually not html code. But to comment to the post and get secret messages(change the text color) we would have to use html code. But I'm not sure blogger will support the code. ::hinthint, ML:: Like ML, doesn't have enough to do! :)

Emma's Kat said...

Kim - Sounds like a great idea to me. I definately need more than a year to plan!

HA!! I finally got the secret message. Mine are too!

Good Morning All--other than heads and teeth, and Frank's heart, are we all well this morning? I finally got my suitcases out of the car, and watched the 2 races I missed over the weekend. Now all I have to do is unpack, and do 3 weeks worth of Paul's laundry(yes, I know, he can, but he won't until he has to)!!

Sam is just as beautiful as the rest of your mob, Deb. I can't say it out loud, but I LUST after a Raggie and a Coonie, and I think you have BOTH!! I also love your "Hail, Hail, the Gang's All Here" picture. My sister has one of her Gang, including both dogs, all on the kitchen counter! The dogs were lifted up, just for the picture!

If anyone wants to hear my lecture on ethanol and the sheer crap we are being fed by the politicians on the subject, just ask. Otherwise, I will save it for some other time. BTW-I do know what I'm talking about here;-P

I just checked out the Secret Paw, think we will all play!! What fun for the kids!

As for Reunion, if it's next summer, July would be great- I already have 2 reunions and a college graduation in June, and a fly-in the weekend JUST after the 4th of July. Since I'll be flying from West Coast to East Coast and back again, one more trip to the middle won't make that much difference!

That misbegotten washing machine is calling--Later!

Just got back, getting ready to go again! Busy day today.

Deb, saw your comments on Missy's website. That's the next thing to add to our database will be the FP blog sites (great idea, Kat). Plan to send the database to everyone for corrections, whatever, then, if they have a blog, they can mention that, too.

Then I shall go hide for a day and get this thing linked (whew) and we'll be so high tech.

Gotta run, will read everything when I get back. And just remember, these are Fuzz Pack secrets here. Cats (and their people) are a sneaky bunch, sometimes.

Don't forget about Stupid Trivia!

Emma's Kat said...

Kathleen - Hope you are continuing(sp?) to feel better! I honestly can't think of any names! She is so beautiful and I'm sure the right name for her will pop in your head!

Deb - You continue to feel better too! It's raining here today! No problems w/mighraines here, luckily!

Monica - Hope Frank continues to do well and if surgery is inevitable, hey! if it makes him better. I guess what you were saying the other day, though, was that he didn't want surgery out-of-town.

ML - Hope your sinuses quit giving you a hard time as well!

Anyone else ill or not feeling well!!??

Email from GS:

Hey all! How were your respective forths?! Mine was good. It was nice to spend time with my family for once, although I missed my babies. They were so happy to see me! Anyhow, I'm writing also to let you know that even though I'm back, I'm not posting today. I have A LOT of work to catch up on, and don't have time today for ANY of my web sites. Although I may say a word later on tonight, when I get home (IF I'm allowed on the computer, lol) So I wanted to let you guys know, in case anyone asks. OK, Fuzz Family, I'm gonna go do some work... TaTa For Now!

I like Lily! What a pretty flower to be named after.

Just wanted to comment about the ethanol/alternative fuel. I saw on the news last night or this morning that Ford will be making cars that use ethanol. So why couldn't they have done this years ago?? We had this same conversation in my college economics class about 15 years ago!

Can that be made from corn? With our farming heartland, we could have a plentiful fuel source for ourselves and sell it to everyone else in the world. The oil companies would love that. NOT!

KC and the Giggleman Kitties said...

I'm back, for a second. You know, when you mentioned a name for Cairo, and whoever said what kind of flower is white and grey with green, for some reason I thought of a beautiful white lily.

So Kathleen would have a Lily and a Rose. Sounds like a beautiful garden, doesn't it.

But now it's, does the cat [Cairo] look and act and feel like a Lily?
What was that poem about the naming of cats...? I can remember clowder and kindle, but not the poem. Sigh.

KC and the Giggleman Kitties said...

Well, that one's gone.

Sorry about that, the blogger just mangeled (sp) my post.

I was very excited that Rosie [who else] had posted a comment on Missy's now-appropriately-named blog. And Charley and I can't quit laughing, you must read it.

I want to take a picture of Missy from under her chin. She was sitting by me, nose in the air, and I fully realized how big those FB's really are. They must stick out 1" or so, and then there's the fur. We'll all have to do this next and compare FB's. Casper is next, don't you know.

The Royals and Gentleman Beau said...

Hi everybody!
Oh, Karen, your tooth problem is not one to be envied...and they're making you wait 2 weeks? I hope they have you on antibiotics at least...
When I read for ideas about a floral name for Cairo, the old Floral Designer in me thought first of a White Iris, too! Then my mind meandered off to think some alstromeria (strain of lily) has such coloring, and orchids. But Orchid I can see as a name for a BIG tropical bird! Iris looks to have the most votes, but I had a cat named Lily that I adopted from one of the tech's at my vet's office. I gave her back to the tech when I was in the long term hospital. She was a-oh gosh, dare I? She was a (stripper music playing) a LOUCHE TABBY!!!!
Actually, I do have a camera that's over 4 years old - do you think the film is any good on it anymore, because I'm pretty sure I have the FuZZ I lost while I was in the hospital on it.
Next July for the 1st Reunion sounds do-able for me. Mid July, think I can surf the net for some prices now. The prices at the Lodge seem VERY reasonable, but one Has to avail oneself of at least a few hours in the SPA!!!
Gotta check out Missy's Blog!!

chat later...

Sam you are so pretty and soft. You look very snugg-able.

My what a nice kitty family you have there Deb T. Sam looks like a handsome cuddly cat. He is so peaceful in his picture.

What is this, how come the fuzz pack can't be free of worry and pain?? Teeth, headaches, heart, and what ever.........not good. Oh well, who says life is fair. Hey I got one for you. I got bit by something on my boob near you know what and I'm itching like crazy. Sure hope someone don't think I'm playing with myself, because damn it itches.

Sorry I am getting on so late but I have been having problems with getting kicked off line all the time. I think I found the problem but time will tell. Frank went to see his new cardiologist today. He did admit that if he was home instead of Sacramento he might have opted for the surgery. He has a heart monitor on again. To make a long story short the doctor has to make his own evaluation after getting all the records from when Frank had his first by-pass in 1990 up until now.

BTW, actually I liked Cairo for a name but if you are going to change it to a flower to go with sweet Rose, I like Iris, but it's Kathleen's kitty and it's her choice.
