Ariel

The photo on the left is one of the very first photos I took of Ariel. She was very sick with a stomach parasite. I have since learned to look for signs of a sick kitty. Dull watery eyes, dry crusty nose, etc. My problem was I saw her in that cage in the pet shop all by herself. I tapped the cage with my fingers and this tiny ball of fluff came walking up. It broke my heart and clouded my senses. I was looking with my heart, foolish. I'm lucky my story has a happy ending as Ariel got to a vet. Who gave me medicine and with lots of love she pulled through. Now she is 3 years old and my best buddy. She has enriched my life in so many ways she means the world to me.

What an adorable, beautiful, sweet looking girl you are Ariel. I have to agree with momsbusy, if you had not taken her she might never had recieved the care and love that she needed. You are a very special person for taking her. kitty lovers and snuggles to you.

Isn't Ariel just precious. So tiny. She reminds me of little KC. And she has grown up to be so beautiful. And healthy.

I'll definitely be visiting her site.

I will be gone most of the day, my articles are due at midnight. I had forgotten completely in the excitement...

...check Missy & KC's blog for details. FYI, Missy now allows tum rubs! She is even beginning to pur.

Right now, as I'm typing, she and KC are playing. It's a reserved kind of play, but still, an attempt. Just can't believe it.

Ah, sweet Ariel, you are a beauty. Love your markings. And the big collar on her as a kitten is just too precious.

Ariel was such a sweet baby and she's grown into a very pretty girl! Its lucky you came along. You would think that the pet shop owners would get appropriate medical care for their animals!

Saw yesterday's late post about the two white persians needing a home. Any luck? I am sorely tempted as I really love the fluffy ones. But, this weekend I am taking in another kitty. My ex-husband has decided he is moving in with his girlfriend. He says he cannot keep the Whiskers the cat (my daughter's cat) because his girlfriend already has 3. (The more the merrier, I say!) However, he is keeping his dog. Anyway, my daughter, Katie, was upset because he was going to take Whiskers to a no kill shelter. Of course, I couldn't let that happen, so he is coming to live with us. Katie also wants to adopt one of her classmates kittens. They won't be weaned for about a month, so she has plenty of time to talk me into it, however, I think that may be too many changes in too short of a time for the current fuzzies in the house. We'll see.

Hello again,
Just checking in mid-day. I hope KC grows up to be as healthy and beautiful as little Ariel did. Poor little Ariel was very very ill when you took her, that was so wonderful of you. And now she will "pay back" to you her entire life. That is a wonderful story.

Missy's tum is still making appearances. Yes!

Back to the articles....ML

Ariel, you are so lucky that the right person adopted you so that you got the right medicine to fix your sick tummy. You've grown up into a very beautiful kitty and I enjoy visiting your blog.
