You may remember Oreo, Isabelle & Bear. I have another cat. She is around 5 years old and her name is Chick, but I call her Chicki or "Chicki Chicki Boom Boom". (Anyone familiar with that children's book?) She was a stray that showed up on my doorstep and of course I started feeding her. Then she had a litter of kittens in the doghouse, so after they were weaned and given away to other homes, I had her spayed. I keep her shots up to date, so I guess she's not a stray anymore. Now she lives in the back yard. Occasionally she's not there when I go looking for her, but for the most part I don't think she wanders too far away. She doesn't like coming in the house, so I let her stay outside. She has taken up residence in the dog house, as my dog Sam lives in my house. Chick is quite the mighty huntress. She often leaves her trophies (moles, birds, and the occasional frog) on the back porch. She also has a fondness for chasing bugs, and butterflies. -Karen S.~Check out our newest foster! :)~

Kim - Awwww, Casey's 1st day! I'm sure she'll love it! Can't wait for Jude to go. I think he'll love going to Pre-K. Hopefully!

OK, it's official, we all think Chick looks like Casper and MBY! That was the first thing I thought too!!! She is so beautiful! What a great protector. She obviously sees you as her home, she leaves her "trophy's" on your porch.
Guess where I'm headed now? Back to bed to take a one hour nap!!! My gosh, I haven't done that in many years! The house is ALL MINE for three hours!!! So I will post later, but for now...!

I wish I could sleep until 7! I seem to be stuck on 4:30 these days. 'Course, it might have something to do with the light on in the computer room and CNBC on loud enough to wake the dead!! LOL.

Morning All, A cat named chick, that is too cute. Looking back at Casper's picture, they do look a lot alike.
Fitzgerald threw up a couple of times this morning, I'm not sure what is going on. Maybe he just ate too much? He stays in the kitchen a lot of the time and is always eating.
I know I haven't commented in ages, but I always stop by to take a look. That's my Chicki. She was a little skittish about having her picture taken. She wouldn't sit still for me.
I miss keeping up with everyone. Hopefully, I will have more time soon, since I am hiring some part time help. Then maybe I can go home at quitting time like everyone else!
....ahem...Chicki is poised and ready for action...................

What a beautiful cat you are Chicki. I think you have a lot more grey in you than Missy and Casper. They have more brown in them, but you sure have the pretty blue eyes. But it looks like you have their cattitude. Sounds pretty neat that you have your own house.

Having fun and enjoying our pets and sharing our pets. My first reason for blogging was because my coworkers were a little tired of hearing about my cats (especially Victor) every day. I know what you mean when you said that co-workers and everyone get tired of hearing about your fuzz children. I started to blog to share stories about my kitty's, because everyone I knew was tired of hearing about them. Be sides I think it is fun.
We all seem to be in the same boat! My friends and family also get tired of hearing about my kitties, so this is definately a fun outlet and a great way to meet good friends! ::group virtual hug:: ;)

Victor's Mom & Karen C.--I find it very entertaining that your blogs are from the kitty's point of view. Its witty and even though I know its really you guys, I find myself thinking its the cats, because each one speaks with its own personality. Good Morning! It's 6am here in the middle of the US. I'm about to wake child number one. He will get up at 5:30am on the weekends or durning the summer. So why is it that when I wake him at 6 he gets so upset and acts like a bear?! So frustrating indeed!!! Well, let me go and face the bear. Just wanted to say good morning to all who might be awake.
