Rhett

Two year old Rhett is our comedian. He loves to play fetch and chase bubbles. He is always getting into mishchief, which is why we pronounce his name RHETT!! -PJ @

Ok, Rhett you are a cutey AND handsome! Lol! I so love this kitten pic of him and he does have long arms! I love it when they lay like that and stretch their arms out! And I also love the pronunciation of Rhett's name...[sarcasm in the air] How every did you come up w/that!? LOL!

Hope everyone is doing well and if you haven't already heard, there is a new blog ML & I have started! It's called Pet Prayer & Praise Blog, and it's just what it says, so have a look-see! It's also under my special links.

awww Rhett! you are a very handsome guy and i think you know it by the way you are checking yourself out in that mirror! LOL!!!
you look like quite the entertainer.

just to let you all know, i had a very successful interstate move with all the 'kids' and they settled into the long drive and into the house rather smoothly. maybe it was the Feliway, maybe it was just luck. who knows, but i'm not complaining! they've been wonderful!

i see Opie was cat of the day while we were gone. thanks for all the kind comments. he sure is a big handsome love bug! he's always on my lap when i'm on the computer.

i got my internet service over the weekend, but it seems to be giving me lots of trouble. i'm also having trouble on this site. i've been able to look at the cats the past few days, but not able to comment until today. weird. so if you don't see me on, hopefully that is the only reason why!

"I'm to sexy for my beans, to sexy for myself, so sexy it hurts!" LoL I just couldn't resist!!! Rhett and his long arms look to be saying, "Yo Baby, what up?!" Also couldn't resist that either!

I love the Ginger kitties! This little guy is so sweet and very hansome!

Rhett you are a cutie! Just like everyone else I must comment on these arms. So long.

I left the same stupid trivia question for everyone to guess. It seems to be a little on the dificult side. Goo luck!

Good morning fuzzies!

Jess - So glad everyone is settling in to the new home well! You just have great kitties! Blogger has been slow and it gave me problems yesterday when I was trying to comment too. So, maybe it's just Blogger? Heck, just blame it on Blogger! Lol! ;)

PJ - Thanks for the link!

Loa - Where are yooooouuuuu!!! Hope all is well!

Thanks Kat, things are going well and I'll check back frequently now that I'm on line at home. Missed all of you and the beautiful cats. I've been trying to acclimate Dickens and Charlotte. Emma and Alex are very accepting and lately they enjoy playing with Dickens but Charlotte is still shy and hides under the bed most of the time. Bought the feliway and I think it is slowly working but she still hisses and growls then runs under the bed although she has ventured around the house a bit. She is a total love with humans though-purring and rubbing against us so I'm sure it will eventually be fine-I'm patient.

linda t. - if miss kitty had interactions w/ a male kitty and is not pregnant she could have a uterine infection. which is serious if not caught in time. i had a kitty that had it. antibiotics can be given or spaying.

thought you might want to pass the word along. i never knew until it happened to my kitty.

I'll have to look for those catnip bubbles. Emma and Benji just discovered bubbles a couple weeks ago. They love chasing them too!

Good morning, everyone! Rhett is SUCH a handsome ginger kitty. And I love that he manages to keep his humans on their toes! LOL! Pumpkin, the klepto kitty, walked off with one of my 14k onyx earrings his morning. Lukily the bedroom door was closed so he didn't make a clean getaway. Bad kitty!

Has anyone ever heard of a movie called "GHOST CAT"? It was on Animal Planet about four years ago.

A father and daughter bought their house where a lady and her cat had both died. The cat began appearing as a ghost to the daughter. Eventually the cat led to the murderer of the lady.

I have yet to find it on DVD or even on television. It was on during the Halloween season and every year I look for it.

Think about it, this movie was before I liked (loved) cats.

Thanks for posting about the ceremony @ Calico Girls for Trixie, ML! I just haven't been able to get around to posting anything about it here! Don't think I've seen that movie. I'll look for it this Halloween! Off to make a quick dinner (and late) and then on the Jude's Pre-K orientation.

Just love the picture of Rhett looking in the mirror. So far there has only been one cat of ours that has looked in the mirror and wondered who that other cat was and he is no longer with us.

You truly have turned out to be a handsome cat Rhett. Only comedian in our house right now is Cleo, the rest are old farts. (Present writer included). Although Cleo can get one of the oldsters going now and then, Casper.

You know Mary Lynn. I think I have heard of the "Ghost Cat" and I think I have seen it too. Can't remember where but it sure sounds familiar. I didn't see it on animal planet though cause I can't get that station. Doggone, got my grey brain cells going now.

ML - I believe the movie GHOST CAT is better known by the name "Mrs. Ashboro's Cat". I'm not sure where you can find it. It was a made-for-tv movie. I'll look around and let you know if I find a place to buy it.

KC and the Giggleman Kitties said...

Oh, please. I keep searching the tv listings for it, but so far nothing. Like I said, they showed it at Halloween.

They did show it the following year, also at Halloween, but we had just moved Charley into an assisted living complex and didn't have cable (we were able to get cable within the year).

I did read a review a few years ago and it was called "Mrs. Something's Cat", couldn't remember the name.

Ghost Cat kinda sticks with you. I saw it right about the time I was noticing cats as possible pets.
