....so...I volunteered at Cats Protection North London today and there was a long-haired Tabby who would roll on her back and spread her legs open whenever a person entered the room.....this does not suprise me...I just thought I'd share..............................

Rosie, that's so funny.
Maybe *you* have this effect on Tabbies? :-)

Nice and quiet on Kat's site today. I kind of like it that way.

It's a beautiful first-day-of-fall here in B'ham. I was walking each of our three babies and Maddie was exceptionally cute. Twice, she chased and caught grasshoppers only to carry them in her mouth to our front yard where she then played with them. OK, so maybe the grasshoppers weren't too thrilled but I think they both survived.

Ah Rosie, the affect you have on cats is amazing! They apparently know what makes you go "HMMM!" LOL!

Hi Donna! Maddie sounds good, how are Kona and Wiley? So glad you commented today, been wondering how you've been.

Rosie, I think it's just you!! The cats know what you want, and, with your magnetic personality, they give it to you!

Donna, so good to hear from you. Maddie sounds bright eyed and bushy tailed. How is Kona, and sweet Wiley? BTW, how are you and Bil, and the job hunt?

It's beautiful here too. Warm and breezy today, maybe Flumpy will catch leaves rather than live things. Our little Himi, Ted, was a "Mighty Leafes Catcher."

I can't keep everyone's kitties matched up...I can't believe you remember that Maddie goes with Kona and Wiley :-) And they are both--as ever--special and precious beyond words. I look at all three of our cats and I am awed by their beauty and cuteness. Every.Single.Day.

Job hunt continues. I had a pre-interview phone call last week and we ended by deciding I should go in for a regular interview. We just haven't set the date and time yet. We'll see.

In the meantime, we've had our over-sized "fake river rock" gas fireplace removed and we've installed a 3-sided gas fireplace floor level (no raised hearth). It is getting paws-up all around! Once, all three of our kitties were lying on the floor, one on each side, enjoying the warmth. And Maddie likes sleeping on top of it too.

I hope everyone has as nice early fall weather as we're having here in the Pacific Northwest. We enjoy it while we can before the gray settles in for a long stay. :-)

Donna, I hate to admit this, and I've been putting off asking, but do you still have your blog? I've wanted to visit but I just can't remember. There are so many but yours was always one I enjoyed. As for remembering who's cat goes with whom, I can't really keep up. For some reason, yours have always stuck with me. I think because they were one of the first that Kat published. Also because of how Kona was named. Anyway, I always enjoyed what you had to say.

Breaking news...from Victor Tabbycat...LUNA is found!

That's all I know, Fuzz Pack.

What a wonderful post for a Sunday!

Kim, I don't really have a blog. Just a little website that I'm seriously lacking in updating. But it has pictures of our three babies.

Thanks.

I just had to leave a note for Luna. That is just the best news.

I just checked Luna's site. She was found by some garbage cans, skinny, with fleas, and a banged up nose! If that's all that's wrong, she is one lucky little cat. From the pictures, she's VERY GLAD to be home again!

What wonderful news for a Sunday--the Lord does work in mysterious ways...
