Mistrie

Hello, my name is Mistrie Rose. I am a Mystery to my purrsons, hence my name (Rose for my dusty rose colored nose). I showed up in late Summer of 2004 and I am not saying where I came from. I stayed in the woodshed for a long time and then under the deck during the cold winter. The Lady of the House put a covered bed under the deck for me. She was always calling my name and looking for me and worrying over me so I decided when the snows melted to use the back deck and let her see my pretty face. I purr for her and give her headbutts and let her brush me; but that is all! She sits on the floor inside the house and calls my name and talks to me and pets me. She gives me Fancy Feast along with the girls! I also get treats, but if she comes outside, I run. I am an outside kitty and I shall remain that way! She put flea medicine on me and tried to trick me into eating a pill in food (I was too smart for that). I bring The Lady presents, mice, shrews, even gophers and she praises my work. -Toni (The Calico Girls)

Well Miss Mystery Rose, you sound like you have a wonderful relationship with your person! She respects you and so in return you have learned that she loves you and will take care of you and you're not afraid. You sound like one heck of a smart girl and you're quite the beautiful lady, too! It's very sweet of you to bring your lady presents!

Good Morning/Afternoon All!

Good Morning, all---

Mistrie Rose, you are a lovely girl, and a good hunter for your Lady.

It's good to know that your Lady is recovering from her surgery and will be back with us soon. Give her lots of purrs and headbumps from all of us.

Good morning! Mistrie Rose, you are such the beautiful girl! I too love your sweet little stiped back legs, those orange toes and your fluffiness! After posting Mistrie this morning I remember that her momma will be MIA until October! Duhhh!!! I could kick myself! But, maybe I'll email it to her, so when she is able to get online again, it'll be waiting for her.

Hope everyone is well! Hi Danielle! Wish you could comment, but I am happy you are getting your computer straightened out and Stupid Trivia is back!! Yeah!

Well, busy day ahead! I have to go b-day shopping for my son and grocery shopping for last minute things for the party!

Mistrie, you are a pretty kitty. I guess a tummy rub is out of the question? Oh, but look at that fluffy tummy. I cannot resist.

Good Morning, Beautiful Mistrie Rose. I am a long time fan of the Calico Girls, and the newly adopted Precious Flower, and the outside Mistrie. She is a sweetheart. Duh -- I never realized the name came from "Mystery", how cool.

Kat, I think it will make CalicoMom Toni really happy to know her Mistrie Girl was featured today. You might even want to snail mail her a copy.

Fuzz Pack, Kat & I have a mailing address for Toni, if anyone wants to send her a get well card, greeting, etc. as she recovers from surgery.

Thought I might send her a little (i.e., inexpensive) souvenier from Texas...you all might want to do the same. A little something from your state or city. Just a postcard would lift her spirits (it would mine, if I were in her position). I'm a bit partial to the "Don't Mess With Texas" items myself. Hee-hee.

Rosie and everyone, I too have been wondering where the elusive Ms. Myres has been. This morning I received an e-card! She is attending classes to be the next computer guru, with her loyal, geeky assistant, Marigold.

She asked the whereabouts of the Blogger articles I wrote. So far, August is all that is out. I have three awaiting publication for September, but they are not online as of yet.

Anyone has ideas or questions, just email me. Also, if you want to contribute a tip, I will gladly include it, with proper credit given, of course (unless you want to remain anonymous).

Lookie at this comment. Whoa. Guess I'm trying for a Rose-wannabe type comment.

it isn't a mystery that mistrie is a beautiful girl. (sorry, i couldn't resist) she looks just fluffy enuff to be extra soft and cuddly. too bad she's a not a lap cat. bet she could warm you up on a chilly evening. love the white around her mouth.

glad to hear things went well at the human v-e-t.

Mistrie what a beautiful girl you are. I love you coloring. You sound like a really independent kitty who prefers to be on your own.

Mistrie, you are a very beautiful girl. You look like Pounce. Atleast you give your meowmize loves and let her know that you are ok.
