Oscar

Oscar came to us at 5 weeks old, full of fleas and attitude. The fleas were washed and treated out, the attitude stayed. Oscar has more personality than any cat I have ever met. Hence why I started his website (http://www.oscarsvoice.blogspot.com/) to show him off. These three pictures show you - a close up of his handsome photogenic face as he rests on the handles of my exercise bike (currently knows as his toy dangler). One picture is a lovely one of him sitting on his scratching post and the last one is of him totally nipped out on catnip after stealing the stash of mice I had put away for him. He certainly adds a lot of love to our family.

Good morning! Isn't Oscar just the most beautiful color orange!? And such a handsome boy! I so love the picture of him all "lala" after indulging in some kitty crack! Lol! Check out his green eyes in that picture as well! Click to bigefy.

Oscar is handsome! He has two things going for him in my opinion. First, his name is Oscar! Second, he's orange! My baby is an orange tabby named Oscar, too!!! I agree with Kat, I like the nipped out pic! Mr Oscar, you just go 'head with your bad self! LOL!

Good Morning All!

Awww thanks guys (blush). How embarrasing - I didn't know Mum set me up for this. And I really don't have much attitude at all - seriously!

Kim - Claire lost her job and said she'd check in when she could. She commented a few days ago, maybe last week.

Holy FB's!! I just noticed Oscar's big 'ol FB's! This warrants a ruling from the DOF UK! Oscar, if you're wondering what this all means, just got to KatSpeak under my special links. ;)

I re-read back on Danielle's blog, she said her vacation lasted through the 6th, guess we won't hear from her until tomorrow.

Yup, I'd hate to get on that Midnight's bad side, whoa.

Oscar you are a handsome man! I like a kitty that enjoys his nip!

Just saw the pics of Midnight's revenge. Perhaps Cocoa has learned his lesson--but I doubt it.

I just LOVE Oscar the Wondercat, especially the "nipped out" picture. That lovely orange tummy needs kisses.

I think Cocoa is going to stay in that cabinet until his Lady gets home tonight, unless his Girl gets him out! I wouldn't mess with Midnight.

Boy Oscar you sure looked wacked out in that one picture. Looks like you in some kind of trance. Is that fun??? Do like the first pic, you look like one of the regular guys in that one, also in the second pic. Looks like you got one neat scratching post there.

Cocoa, watch out!!!

Don't know what the heck is going on with blogger again. It doesn't recognize me.

Thought you all would want to know -- Karen C just posted to the Pet Prayer and Praise blog that Jade is sick. Hopefully it's just an upset tummy.

Me, I'm still wondering about Cocoa in that closet. Of course, he may be sound asleep and not even notice he's locked up...!

"Oscar, Oscar, Oscar"!* LOVE your deep ginger coloring - you remind me of an Orange Julius!...hmmmm...maybe they don't make those anymore...hows about Orange gelato? Dude, you look delish!

Remember Oscar --- nip responsibly...

ML. I understand you had a problem leaving a comment on my site. Sorry, it's stupid beta-blogger. The best is to click "other". That is what everybody tells me works. Thanks for persisting.

Rose - I remember Orange Julius!! I would skip lunch bell with my best friend and go to the mall and have an orange julius! Mmmmm...yum!

ML - Will have to go check out the prayer blog. Just got back from choir practice.

Karen - Any word about how Jade is doing as far as adjusting? Is she as scared as she was?

Karen C. said...

Jade is still shy and scared of lots of things, but if Norma approaches her slowly and doesn't pick her up, Jade loves to be petted and she even purrs. Norma's other cat, Cashmere, is a jealous bully and he's taking a long time getting used to her. Jade is still scared of Cashmere, but he's gradually acting less hostile to her. She spends a lot of time under the bed, but comes out to eat and use her box, plus she sleeps on the bed with Norma. She's still very scared, but is sweet and loving. I just hope her stomach problems aren't serious. The vet said it could be anything - a reaction to food, a parasite, or even cancer.
