Chloe

Hello, my name is Chloe. Last winter, my Mommy Mari was a stray cat who was taken in by a kind lady named Kathleen. Mommy Mari had six kittens! There were five of us girls: Shanti, Makara (we call her Macaroni), Charlie Girl, Daphne, and me -- Chloe! And we have one brother, Sir Galahad. He's the only one of us who is an orange tabby. I am the only calico, and the other girls are grey tabbies. Kathleen's friends Morgen and Lee adopted me and Daphne when we were eight week's old, but they had been to visit us at least once a week since we were born. Lee and Not The Mama (that's what we call Morgen) live in a big house and we have lots and lots of room to run and play in. Then there's Auntie Spooker. She is an old grey cat, who used to be Lee and Not The Mama's only child. She's not a happy kitty since we came along, and she still hisses at me. I try not to let her get to me, but sometimes she does hurt my feelings. Daphne is much bigger than me, and she doesn't take any gruff from old Auntie Spooker any more! Sometimes Not The Mama worries about me, 'cuz Daphne is the same age as me but almost twice as big as me. I am a sweet petite little lady, he says, but he still worries that Daphne can be a bully sometimes. I am very lucky to have Daphne with me in my Forever Home, because she looks out for me, plays with me, snuggle-naps with me, and even washes my ears for me! -Chloe at Purrchance To Dream
