Ginger

Ginger came to me as a stray 5 years ago, when I already had 5 cats. I started feeding her in my yard, and then one day she just disappeared. My neighbor found her in their garage with 4 newborn kittens! I immediately decided I needed to keep her, and they were kind enough to foster her and the kittens and let me visit every nite. After the kittens were weaned, I took her home and she became part of the clan. She has blossomed into a beautiful and loving girl. She loves to be brushed every day, and actually begs for the brush, which is good considering she has so much fur! She loves to camp out in any of the catnappers and just watch birds and squirrels and chipmunks. She's very playful still and likes the cat dancer and cat charmer toys. She's also become a very good Auntie to Princess's kittens. I think she remembers being a young Mom too. ~Jess >^..^<

Such a sweet little kitty, something about her reminds me of Missy, who was also a stray and a very young Mom.

Those eyes and that sweet expression, of course you kept her!

Ginger is a beauty. She looks so sweet and has such beautiful coloring. And she's so fluffy, too. You're so lucky that she loves being brushed. She is a gorgeous kitty.

Good Mornin'! thanks for making Ginger cat of the day! seeing these old pix makes me long for my old house/yard. it had great windows for the cats. here in our new place, we can't put up any cat nappers and i have ac's in so many windows, it doesn't leave too many for the cats to sit in... but they do manage to birdwatch and share windows....lol. plus as cold as it is here, i know it's way colder up north and i don't miss that!

Ginger says thanks for the kind words and have a nice day!

Hi Ginger. What a pretty kitty you are. Probably because you like to be brushed and have fluffy fur. So glad you found a great forever home.

She's beautiful! I was having problems with blogger yesterday, besides being busy at work, and I didn't get to see this lovely girl. I'm glad I got the opportunity today, as I'd hate to miss out on all that gorgeous fluff!

What a sweet story -- I'm glad that she got to have a forever home in such a loving environment!
My mommy was in the same situation -- she had her first litter under a porch, and now she is the House Cat of a retirement home for ladies! She loves it there!

Meow for now,
