Jazz

This is Jazz. Yes, she is full grown, she's just a tiny little girl. She weighs about 7 lbs and is 11 years old. She is a polydactyl too, although you probably can't tell from the pic. Her nicknames are Squeaks, or Squeaky because she is so vocal. She loves to sleep on the bureau, under the lamp, like she is warming herself up. She also sleeps under the blankets for hours on end, but only if i'm not in the bed. If I'm in bed, she sleeps next to me but on top of the blankets. She's funny! Jazz had major surgery a few months ago to remove a fibrosarcoma. It was a very sad time for us, and the first few weeks of recovery were really tough. Lots of meds, and she had to be isolated from the rest of the household. But she is doing amazingly well today. She does all her regular things, like jumping in windows, and drinking from the tub and sinks. We have to visit the specialist every month though to make sure the tumor doesn't grow back. If you find any lumps or bumps on your kitties, I highly recommend getting them checked a.s.a.p. It definately makes a difference if they can get it sooner rather than later. ~Jessica >^..^<
