Shep the Woofie (RIP)

I know this is a sad time, Jan, but I wanted us girls and anyone who wanted, to have somewhere to leave their condolences for you. We know you will miss Shep and we loved hearing all your great stories of him and the fuzz. Give yourself a hug and we are here for ya and will keep you in our thoughts and prayers!

Here is Jan's comment at Emma's blog: I'm finallly home, and glad to be here. I did have some bad news waiting for me however, which Paul very sweetly did not tell me until we were driving home from the airport. Our dear Shep the Dog has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. I have not had a chance to talk to the vet yet, but it appears he had a seizure of some sort, and was not able to walk at all after that. Paul made the decision, and while I would have preferred some input, he made the right choice. As you can imagine, we are both quite sad, dear Sheppie had been with us since Christmas of 1993, and he was 13.

Oh Jan, I'm so very sorry. I know just how much he was loved. I'm so sad thinking about your loss. I loved hearing about Shep in the "old days." Please know that he is happy now, not in pain and waiting for you, Paul and the kitties.

Oh Jan, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. All of us who have furry friends do know what you are going through and it's not easy. Agreed that Paul did the right thing even though at times you wonder. Sheppie had great love from you both. Prayers going up for you.
