Sugar

This is Sugar Booyah Motorhead. Sugar because he's so sweet, Booyah because he's a little crazy, and Motorhead because he purrs very loud and often! Sugar aka "Boo" is the youngest of our cat family. I found him about 14 months ago in the bushes outside of my office building. Boo was just a tiny kitten who could barely breathe due to a severe respiratory infection and he could not see because his eyes were swollen shut L I immediately took him to the vets where he was treated with IV fluids for dehydration, flea medication, and routine tests. They also cleaned up his nose so he could breathe freely (he was breathing out of his mouth when I found him) as well as cleaning up his eyes, which to my surprise, were a beautiful sparkling blue! The vet guessed he was about 7 weeks old and that he had probably spent most of his short life living outside. I took him home to live with my family of 5 cats who weren’t too sure about him at first. After a little medication and lots of love I am happy to say that Sugar has grown into such a handsome, sweet, loving cat who enjoys snacking on lettuce! I think it goes back to his early days of living on the streets and eating any leaves he could find! He truly is a wonderful cat and I am so glad we found each other on that cold rainy November day! No matter how big he gets, he will always be my little Boo! -Becky (Jess's sister)

Sugar you are a very handsome kitty. I also love your name. It stinks that you had a very rough start to life at a very early age. I'm very happy that you found a wonderful furever home, when you needed a loving person the most. Becky, you are an angel to take in such a sick kitty and give him a furever home.- Val

MMama - Ferrule is adorable and so is the other sweet little Siamese face I saw! My Emma girl fetches too, but she fetches balls of paper. She is paper obsessed! And there's a unspoken rule (guess I need to post it somewhere, lol) around Kat's Cat. You mention your furrbaby and you gotta cough up a picture for me to post as cat of the day!! ;)

Hey - you're in LA? That means we're neighbors! I work in West LA and live near Torrance.
Sugar is adorable and has beautiful eyes. How wonderful that you found him and were able to get the sweet boy all better. My Cocoa likes to eat lettuce too. At first I thought he just wanted to lick the 1000 Island dressing, but then he chewed up the lettuce and came back for more.

What a beautiful cat. How nice of you to pick him up, that was his lucky day -- finally! Poor guy, he really deserved a lucky day.

Yup, Kat's a real stickler for that unwritten rule, too. You mention a cat and you gotta send a picture. None of us will let you forget that! Muhahahahhahah (the evil laugh -- that one's written down in Kat Speak)

Beckster, my vegan bud, you are a great mommy. I'm so very glad you were there to save the BOO-ster. The fact that he likes veggies makes him all the sweeter in my eyes. :-)))
