Lucille

This is Lucille, a.k.a Myrtle. She is a sweet, shy girl living among 3 boy cats. She loves her mom and dad a lot but her brothers…not so much!! Lucille showed up in my basement about 6 years ago on a rainy January day. I discovered her while I putting away the Christmas decorations; I noticed a tail sticking out behind some boxes but I wasn’t sure if it was a cat or some other creature (squirrel, raccoon?) I cautiously put a bowl of dry food down and came back the next day to find it empty! This went on for about a week before I finally got her to come out and greet me. I was surprised to see such a tiny little girl with the sweetest meow and a very loud motor! After weeks of unsuccessfully trying to find her owner, I realized she was meant to be my girl and welcomed her into my home (which already had 5 cats!!) These days you can find Myrtle in her “apartment” (kitchen cabinet) or her “penthouse” (linen closet) lounging on some towels, waiting for someone to come by and pet her! She truly is a little Diva! -Becky (Jess's sis)

She is so beautiful! I biggyfied the pic on the right and was amazed at how unique the colors on her face were. What a darling princess. You're right, looks like she was destined to be your kitty! How much does she weigh now? Is she still a tiny framed girl?

Good Morning All!

Lucille says THANX for making her "cat of the day" and of course thanx for all the nice compliments!! She's still a tiny girl even tho she is almost 7 years old. Being small does not stop her from being queen of the house tho! xoxox0 >^^<

She is a real cutie, very pretty. Guess she had you pegged from the very start, hiding in the basement... what a neat story.

So glad that she has a forever home and you took the patience for her to come to you. She sounds like my Patches, she took forever to come out of hiding when she became an inside cat and her motor is long and loud. She even meows and purrs and the same time.

Ooops Kat since I mentioned Patches name do I need to send another picture of her to you???
