Jazper was abandoned in a house in Rhode Island, and cat bloggers raised money online for his vet expenses (a clean bill of health) and an airplane ticket, for him to get to Michigan. He lives at The Wren's Nest, in Dowagiac, Michigan. The Wren's Nest is a wild bird and nature gift store, and he fits right in with our natural theme. He arrived in November, 2006, and he is the most out-going, friendly cat. He loves to be brushed, petted, played with, and he has a loud rumbling purr. Customers took to him immediately, and he certainly has become a Good Will Embassador for the shop. He already has a loyal following, and he has one vendor who brings him fresh catnip from his garden. He loves Friskie's canned food, and Pounce, Temptations, and Feline Greenies for snacks. He is a Big Man Cat, and loves to eat! I think Jazper is great! I love the picture of him with the feather toy because the colors look so good with his furs. I never knew the story about how he got to his new home before this.

I love Jazper's happily ever after story. He's such a handsome kitty and now has the purrfect home. I think shop cats are great and I'll always go back to places that have them.
