Screwball

My name is Kim and my cat's name is Screwball, we call him Screwy. He was rescued from living outside all winter in 2005. My neighbor brought him home and decided that she didn't really want a full grown cat at that time. (Plus he pooped on her kitchen floor) so she was grossed out and asked me to take him. I gladly took him and he is my baby. Now he lived outside for about 2 years before I got him and he is so happy here he doesn't even try to go near the door. He knows just how good he has it here. -Kim

First of all...Rosie alert!!! The picture on the left will have her in overload!

I love the name Screwball. He looks like one loving, relaxed kitty! Some people just don't understand what it takes to adopt an adult, kittens suit some people better. You sound like the perfect person for an adult kitty. Thank you for understanding his needs and giving him a home. It sounds like it was the right choice all around! BTW, did I mention that Screy is just ADORABLE?!

Hehee, love both pictures of Screwy, but especially the one on the left! Screwy, where's your modesty? ;) You are so cute and sweet. And your mommy was lucky she found you and vice versa!

Screwy is great -- I love the story and how he's so happy to be an indoor kitty now!!!
And that pose --- well, modesty aside, I think his tum tum is so inviting!

cheers,

What a wonderful success story! And he obviously feels very secure in your house -- exposed tummies usually indicate security!

Congrats on your beautiful kitty!

Good Afternoon Fuzz Family!

Screwball, you are a very handsome kitty. Your tummy does look very inviting to give a tummy rub to. It's wonderful that you found your furever home. Kim, thanks for sharing your kitty baby with us.

He's a cutie! It was the right thing to do by pooping on that other lady's floor - it got him an even better home. Way ta go!

Screwball is sooo cute!! he does look so relaxed just waiting for a belly rub. in the pic on the right, he reminds me of my Opie..he lays upside down like that on my lap and gives me the squinty cute eyes like that. plus he has that orange smudge on his check too :)
i'm glad you rescued Screwy and gave him a great home!

You're so welcome Kim. I sure hope tomorrow is a better day. Crappy days suck, lol! I had one yesterday. But, thank goodness, today was great! Take care! Everyone loves Screwy!

Absolutely adorable. I bet I know why his name is Screwball- (aside from pooping on the floor which when you think about it was purrty smart. Got him to you Kim.)-I am willing to bet that he is a sweetly nutty orangie. I know cause I have my Alfie who resembles Screwy. I really think you haven't lived until you are owned by an orangie!
