We picked out Cabernet at an animal shelter in Indianapolis when he was about 1½ years old. He's now about 10 and has been quite the traveler, making all our moves since then with us -- from Indianapolis to Fisher, IN; to San Jose, CA; to Albuquerque, NM; to Sterling, VA; to Houston, TX. Whew! He's mostly an indoors cat, but likes to venture out the front or back door a bit, in the very early morning or evening, just to see what's what. Whenever there's a thunderstorm, he cannot be found. Cabbie is a BIG boy, and we all love him lots! -Anne (Marilynn's daughter a.k.a. Ruse & Audace's mom)

Cabernet IS a big boy! He looks so nice and floofy, too. I love the white patch on his chest, has he always had it or did it come with age? Oscar's came with age, I think it's so sweet. He is quite the travelling kitty, is Daddy or Mommy in the military?

I think Cabbie is a good name for this traveling one, since cabbies drive many miles. Bad joke. Anyway Cabernet(which is the name I like the best) is a very handsome cat. He does look cuddly.
