The grey smoke is "Ash" while the ginger one is Deshar (roughly Egyptian for red). Both collected from Leicester Animal Rescue, UK, in January. We don't know their parentage. We were told they're brothers and they're certainly extremely well bonded. Deshar spends his life looking for peace and quiet; Ash spends his life looking for Deshar. We suspect that they're first generation cross-breeds: possibly from an Egyptian Mau. Never had anything like them before. -Bruce & Elaine

Only in the first picture (left), I would say he looks part Devon Rex! Something about the face. They're both so cute! What a great kitty family and also, great beans for going to a rescue agency to find your furry children!

Thanks for the kind comments. We love them to bits or, to be precise, they have us under complete mind control. All Ash has to do is to look at Elaine and she moves, as if in a trance, to feed him. Very strange....
They have distinct oriental cat character traits and I've never seen a cat that can move as fast, jump or climb like Deshar.
