Mia

Mia was originally an inside cat who had been deserted. She appears to be Lynx pointed Siamese or a Siamese mix with beautiful blue eyes & loud voice. She started hanging around my sister's house who of course fed her but at the time had a dog as well as two kids. Ghost had just been at my house for about 8 months at that time & was still on the wild side. My Mom & I drove the hour and half to my sister's house, visited with them & on way home shoved Mia into PTU (prisoner transport unit AKA kitty carrier) for the ride home. She showed her Siamese side - complaining the entire way home. Once home, she tried to make friends with Ghost but that has never worked out very well. They tend to ignore each other now but initially there was a great deal of hissing. She is currently putting the new addition to the family in her place by chasing the dog. Mia is very picky about her food & generally is the boss of the house. She is a great superviser of everything we do and likes attention on her terms. My sister convinced me that I was meant to have Mia because our eyes matched - it has been a perfect match for many years & I hope for many more to come. -Jen
