Suzanne

Suzanne was sixteen May 15th. She was born in a garbage dumpster and lived there for about 4 weeks when she was rescued along with her litter mates. She came to live with me, and immediately we discovered a special bond that has tied us together ever since. She's very small, weighing in at less than 5 pounds these days. Like so many other kitties, she has kidney failure. She's mostly doing well, drinking enough to stay hydrated on her own. Suzanne is a skitter kitty and hides under the bed when strangers come to visit. On her blog, Under The Bed, she's fearless! She has a good heart and a kind word for everybody. --Suzanne's mama, Toni

one of the downfalls of being a senior catizen is things don't always work like they should. glad to hear she is drinking plenty of water to stay hydrated.

i love her little smudged white nose. too cute. it's wonderful that the two of you share a special bond.

What a pretty girl you are Suzanne. Yep, it's not easy getting old. So sorry to hear about your kidney condition, but you look like you are doing well in spite of it. I used to eat in a garbage dumpster when I was a kitten. All kitties in our house are skitter kitties too, we all go hide when someone comes to the door.
