Sadie

My name is Sadie, sometimes Sadie Lady, most often Sadie Baby Boo....I was born in a storage trailer behind our friend Allison's house and I had two litters of kittens there (the first litter died) before I was a year old. Allison finally trapped me by using my babies as "bait". Then I went to Second Hand Paws. My babes all got adopted within a month, but I was still there. I was shy and scared and hid under my blanket when people came to look at me. Some of the ladies at the shelter named me Shady Lady and called me a bad name (they said I was a lose woman). But not my mom, she always stood at my cage and talked nice to me. She slowly started petting me and making silly noises that made me feel calm. After a long time, like 2 months, a man came with mom to see me. He was nice to me too! Then they both went away and when they came back the nice man had a PTU and the ladies were all smiling and I got stuck in the PTU and went to a place I'd never seen before - my new forever home! The kitty that already lived there didn't like me very much, she kept asking me where I sent her friend Punkin and hissing at me. But I am calm and steady so I never let it bother me to much and she eventually stopped being mean and just ignored me. Her name is Zippy, you'll meet her later. When my brother Speedy came he made her be nice to me and now the three of us are a real family. -Sadie
