This handsome fellow is Bean. When his owner travels, he boards with us at the veterinary hospital where I work. There is a lot of Bean to love -- he is a Maine Coon Cat and weighs about 24 pounds. He's too big and heavy for his petite owner to transport him in a carrier, so he wears a harness and proudly walks in on a leash. Bean loves to be groomed. He comes equipped with a brush, which we place in a basket on the door of his cage, and several times a day one of the staff gives him a nice brushing. After you do his back and his beautiful ruff, he rolls over and waves his feet in the air, purring like a diesel engine to get his white underbelly coiffed. Everyone loves Bean and we all look forward to his visits. -Kay in Oregon

Bean

How Bean got his name is a mystery. He had the name when his owner adopted him, and since he definitely knows his name, she kept it.
Oddly enough, another cat named Bean comes to the vet hospital where I work, and she is also a beautiful longhaired cat, a dilute calico.
Bean is an incredibly handsome cat!

He is so floofy!! And he likes tummy rubs too!! He looks very snuggly.
Bean is such a handsome (and rather large!) mancat! LOL! i would love to groom him and rub that sweet belly. he sounds like such a lovebug. i love the name too my Grayby is actually nicknamed Bean :)
