Steppa

Hi my name is Steppa. I am icelandic and I'm lady and queen of my house. I will be 2, 9/10/06 and I have 4 babies. Loa my mom will send photos of them later but I am the mammy so I go first. [This little girl is so sweet and loving and I never know she is in the house but I can't say the same about her kids.] -LOA

Good morning! You probably remember Steppa from Kitten Pic. Her kitten picture is posted there. What a beautiful girl all grown up! Loa - No problems w/her hearing? Or MUS? I had an all white kitty, except he had crystal blue eyes, and he was deaf. We were discussing this not long ago too. Is it the blue eyes combined w/the white fur? Steppa looks to have yellowish eyes. Anyway, you're little pink nose and paw pads are too cute, Steppa!

Steppa is beautiful. She looks like an ICE QUEEN, doesn't she? So elegant and regal. Can't wait to see her babies.

Steppa is beautiful. I have an all white cat named Seaborne, he has one green eye and one blue eye. His hearing is fantastic! He also thinks Steppa is beautiful. Meow!! I would love to see her babies! Grace & babies are doing fine. No forever homes yet, but the "Fuzz Pack" is hard at work -- thank you ML, Kat, and others!!

Yes, last evening at 11 p.m. I was walking the neighborhood, leaving Grace & Company flyers on the doors of nine "hard core" cat lovers. Think at least one of them will pay off.
Got in touch (via email) with Houston Cat Hospital, Deb and her 10 cats highly recommended. Fuzz Pack, they can shave poor Missy's matted back. They also have a feral cat program -- and I have a couple of beautiful feral cats. Going to check that out Tuesday.
Will call a local Petsmart later, when they open, and see if I can get some info.
My other "leads", such as they were, just didn't happen. Was extremely disappointed for about an hour.
Any ideas?

Good Morning All! I slept late today, thank you honey!

Steppa was cute as a kitten and turned into one beautiful adult!!! She does look regal! She also looks loving. She's a true queen over all!!! Thanks Loa, I'm so happy for the chance to see Steppa as both a kitten and an adult!

Good Morning, Fuzz Pack! As our dear Rosie would say, it's pissing down rain here, and has been since Thursday! Over 4" by my "scientific" rain gauge(a cat litter bucket with markings on the inside), and the temp. barely cracked 50 yesterday. Donna has needed her raingear and her woolies to run the past few days! BTW, DONNA, it's about 4 hours, without bad traffic, from here to you. We were as far north as Arlington last summer...

LOA--your Steppa is just beautiful, and you can tell from the pose that she is, indeed, Queen of the World. I also loved the picture of little Mus, even if it did make naughty Riquel say rude things about her Mam. Having kittens, or even young cats can be noisy. Among the running, wrestling, knocking things over, and general herd behavior, kittens are not quiet.

Happy Sunday,all...

I have had a series of klepto kitties- but usually fixated on one thing. Squeek! stole socks, preferably rolled up in pairs. She kept them under the guest bed, carried them around, and talked to them. Kittens, maybe? Miss Meowmepurr Herownself has a yarn problem(not so strange-so do I, but I don't steal it). Now if she would quit taking the ball I'm working with...

Do we have another "online romance" brewing here between Seaborne and Steppa? Even Paul thinks the Missy Blue Eyes and Casper thing is cute--and so do I!!

steppa is saying wow iam blushing i did not know all the boys would fall i love w/ me hehehe ABOUT Riquel she is a mean old cuss lol

Good Morning Fuzz Pack. (Saying it like Good Morning Viet Nam by Robin Williams. LOL.)

Steppa I can see why you are Queen of the house. You are a real beauty. Many years ago I had an all white kitty. We called her mamma kitty as she had quite a few litters of kittens which were all mostly white so they were easy to find homes for. Also back then the spay/neuter program was not in effect. We finally had her spayed and a year later she disappeared. Have no reason why she disappeared. Sure did miss her.

Well Jan, today is a big race day!! As I know you already know. We are having the boat races here in Red Bluff. They come every Memorial Day weekend. They sure are noisy.

Love this kitty. Just happen to be reading "The cat who came for Christmas" by Cleveland Amory right now. It is about a white cat called Polar Bear, so really enjoyed seeing Steppa

Has anyone saw the Cat of the Day today and how the previous owner was so cruel to Pixy?? One of her paws was cut off because she didn't win at a cat show. How sad. Thank goodness the owner was arrested. Also thank the good Lord someone in Rhode Island adopted Pixy to give her the love she deserves.

Emma's Kat said...

Was that not terrible, C's mom?! How can people be so horrible!? That God she is now in a loving forever home!

KC and the Giggleman Kitties said...

I just took a look at Pixy, what a doll. Do not understand how someone could do something like that. just beyond comprehension.

Emma's Kat said...

Did anyone hear about the father that threw his boys over the balcony of a...I think, FL hotel??! And then threw himself over?! WHAT is WRONG with people?!

KC and the Giggleman Kitties said...

I saw something on CNN earlier, they said he killed the kids to get back at his wife. They were having problems???? I don't know what is wrong with people. Truly don't.

Hi Fuzz Pack...
Loa, your Steppa is so regal and beautiful-very intelligent eyes! Thank you for sharing her this morning!

I went to see Pixy at COTD-I'm so enraged, I think if I found out where that "Show Person" was, I would amputate AT LEAST one limb in retribution...! Gosh, I'm SO MAD!!Mad enough to cry...I think I mentioned I was trying to finish my degree in Psych. Well, profiles of serial killers and violent crimials often shows that in childhood they have committed the most abhorrent torturing of any animal they can get their evil hands on. My own Terrorist brother (the one the pair of Siamese climbed up on) did something to a stray cat that I only just RECENTLY took ownership of the memory, because it was SO BRUTAL-it literally makes me sick.
He was laughing as he told my mother what he and his friends had done, and he was already around 20!
He went on to being physically abusive to any woman who lacked the judgement to go out with him...but, "what goes around"...I HOPE!
I haven't posted in awhile, so I feel like catching up a bit - sorry for the run-on post!
I read with great interest about the possibility of a Fuzz Pack Convention...That sounds wonderful! The location in Missouri I think it was, sounds beautiful, and it's fair to everyone...course, I'd like for NYC to be considered, but that's not fair! (and EXPENSIVE!)

I also out of curosity e-mailed United Air Freight about adopting 2 of Debra's kittens, and without the cost of the kennel (I forgot how much they are) the airfare from Houston to Newark is $149.00.
If I were working, good Lord, I'd have to leave the choices up to "foster momma" I LOVE THEM ALL!

Kat, I heard about that man dropping the babies off of the terrace than jumping after...he could have saved a lot of grieving if he'd just jumped first...oooh, God Forgive Me...but those children...

Where's Our Rosie?? I need an attitude adjustment today!!!

When I do finally get my head on straight, I'll post later...
Oh, I should tell you all about my allowing Emily to come out on the terrace with me!
Later!...

i saw cotd and was outraged about poor pixie. i agree they sould have cut off one of the owners back legs. i'm sure the owner didn't have it done by a vet. i can't imagine how horrible and betraying that must have been to picie. it just makes my blood boil!!!!!

loa - steppa iso pretty. i am partial to all white kitties. she looks very content and loved. her little pink nose is precious. can't wait to see the little ones.

Hello again Steppa sweetie! Hello again ladies! I've been out helping the hubby build his dream shed. It's actually quite rewarding to see it come along.

I, too, saw the story of the Doctor in Florida. How awful for someone to be so absolutely selfish! It tells me one thing, he didn't love his children. He didn't want his wife to have them, how spiteful. And she has to deal with his funeral arrangements on top of everything else she's going through. How awful!

AND THEN!!! There is the evil EX owner of Pixie!!!! May God punish them and teach them to value life!!! I just can't understand what motivates some people to do the things they do?! It breaks my heart, both stories today. I may not be perfect and I could stand to improve my outlook sometimes, but I swear that I love my children, my husband, and my cats!!! More than life!!!

OK, emotional episode over now.
Rosie, I know you won't actually break down and share a part of yourself,LOL, but what's wrong sweetie?

Kathleen, such wonderful new about Rosie the Rose!!!!!!

Good Morning All! I know that Kat's parents kept the kids last night so that she and her hubby could go out. She's probably sleeping in since she so rarely gets to do so. LUCKY!!!! Anyway, I'm here too and happy to see you all this morning!

Good morning,

I'm glad it's still just Steppa for the moment. All I had time to do yesterday was take a quick look. Very busy day.

Steppa is so beautiful. Again, I'd love to see her snuggle with black Maddie or Kona :-)

My sister is now up here with us and starting Wednesday evening she becomes our babies' care-taker while we head off on our Sweden/Iceland trip.

How wonderful of "Icelandic" Steppa to appear the week we leave!

Hi Steppa! She is a pretty girl, isn't she, but she is kind of snobby. I love her babies though, and her brother, they are the craziest kitties you have ever seen!
