This site was created with The Daily Kitten in mind. I as many others, wanted a site for adult cats too. So here it is. Please click on the link below and send pictures of your grown-up kitties. I will pick and choose a different cat to post everyday. Thanks and enjoy! Kudos to ML!!

Good morning everyone!
Hello Schmoo! Oh my gosh, what adorable photos; the first showing the crime in progress, the second showing the perfectly innocent face. Wonderful.
Oh, if you're bored or suffering from insomnia, I finally got a trip report and photos on our website. You can go to http://www.ironcats.com/SwedenIceland/index.html
Happy Monday, Fuzz Pack...
I love Schmoo! Love his name, and look at that INNOCENT face in the 2nd picture. Wow, what beautiful eyes.
Great Donna, can't wait to check those pictures out. Thanks.
Good morning! Hi Schmoo! What a cutie! And so true Donna...crime in progress and "What!? I didn't do anything!" Cute little FB's he's got there! And such baby blues! My Chaucer(RIP) kitty looked just like Schmoo plus about 10 lbs!! I can't even remember how much he weighed before he got sick, but I'm thinkin' 16-18lbs! He was a big boy and another story for another day! I need to email pix to GS!
Loa - Schmoo is a handsome boy! And you have a wonderful kitty family as well!
Karen C. - Glad you're home safe and sound! Can't wait to hear the day, which will be soon I'm sure, when Rosie and Cairo are chasing each other and playing. I'm so glad Kathleen is keeping her and like you said, will be a great kitty mom to her!
Deb - How's the old nogin? It's raining here today! But I've never had a problem w/migraines. Never had one in fact!
Good morning Fuzz Family! I read a little of the posts from the weekend, but there were just soooo many I couldn't get them all. I am glad that everyone is where they belong. It has been such a long time and it finally arrived.
How is everyone feeling today? Two and four legged friends.
Schmoo is just sooooo cute. You all are right he caught in the act and then the innocent face. Absolutely adorable. Thanks for sharing him Loa.
Schmoo I hope you don't mind. Mrs. B and Tammy you two are soooo cute. I love Tammy's weight and pose. Mrs. B you look like you have the world at your paws.
I LOVE Schmoo! He is so handsome! He looks so innocent in the second picture. I refuse to believe that this precious cat is a Klepto, I want dna proof!
Kat: Thanks for asking about my nogin -- as a matter of fact, the minute it started to rain last night -- migraine attack! So, feeling a big yucky today.
I LOVE THIS CAT! I love everything about him! His name, his personality, his eyes, everything! What a great cat! And like everyone else, the photos tell the story! He is so handsome, thanks LOA!
Good Morning Fuzz Family! Great to hear that all went well with Karen. OK, now everyone is sharing photos and I'm feeling awfully left out! :( LOL! So, the way to rememdy this situation is for everyone to take note of my email address and the SEND SOME TOO ME!!! LOL!!! OK, now that I have that out of the way...!
Deb, I'm sorry about the migraine! I hope you can get some rest today. Donna, very anxious to see your site!
OOPS! Email address forgotten! Take note please: triskart@hotmail.com
Hi Shmoo! He is a klepto! In that picture you see him with a stuffed animal in his mouth, but my mom didn't tell you about how she has double sided sticky tape on the bottoms of all her knicknacs so he can't pick them up and run off with them. I am trying to remember one of the big objects he stole, but I am blank. He ran off with my car keys once, and sunglasses. Don't let that cuteness fool you...he is a dangerous menance! There should be prison #'s under the pic on the right! Just kidding. Despite his career as a thief, he is very sweet and lovable.
LOL! Riquel, I can just picture the numbers under his picture! Too funny!
Riquel, you are too much girl! I love your description of Shmoo! And the fact that your Mom has two sided tape on everything just makes me laugh my head off!! She did indeed, forget to mention that!
HE IS FREE TO A GOOD HOME BUT U WILL SEND HIM BACK LOL RIQUEL NAMED HIM AND WAS GOING TO TAKE HIN BUT BUT SHE BOUGHT HIM BACK SO WHO WANTS HI ?????????? the big item he stole was a 2lbs bag of dry fruit lol so com and get him
thanks for putting his wanted poster up for me
HAHAHAHAH!!! LOLOLOL!!!! ROFL!!!!
OK ladies, I've got the nervous jitters today! NO, not high and not too much coffee! I took my oldest baby to his first away camp yesterday. He's fine but I'm a wreck. I was fine yesterday but as the night went on and by this morning, I was just going nuts. I MISS HIM! I've already called to make sure he was doing OK. I can't talk to him so I had to ask via a camp coordinator. Funny, I couldn't wait for him to go and make friends and have a blast, now I feel like I've abandoned him! I know, he'll be fine, but I still miss him. My husband thinks I'm nuts because I ask him every five minutes if he thinks Sean's OK? Anyway, if I babble today or have a TON of comments, that's why! I need to take up Thia Chi! (or however you spell it)
Good Morning Fuzz Family !!!!!!!
Shmoo, you are a very beautiful boy, with such a cute and innocent face.
Deb, i hope your Migrain goes away soon for you.
I hope everyone else is doing fine as well.
Deb, hope your headache is better. We had lots of lightning and thunder (in way out west Houston), but not any rain.
Danielle, so glad to hear Jakes bloodwork from Saturday came out so well. If you all haven't seen, check out the Venter's blog for pictures of Jake's weekend -- he had stitches!!!!
I'm going to start on the list today, very simple, with names and emails (when I can find them).
In my handwritten notebook, I have the posting name, name (if known), cat(s) name(s), date cats were posted on blog/blog location, location of home, then little scratched in notations like spouse's name, kids names, address, other blogsites, etc.
ML, I will send all that I have too as soon as I can. Or email me who you have and I can give you any you don't have.
I thought it was something else that he stole, I don't remember the dried fruit...I was thinking about one of your big knicknacks that he stole...still can't remember.
Okay, let me get my list started from what I have, and I'll email that to you. Then we'll add what you have and figure out how to get anyone on the list who isn't. Did that make sense????
Yep, sounds good!
Shmoo, you are a cutie. I love kitties that a get up to a bit of mischief. Although it is funnier when it is somebody else's cat and not my own. lol.
schnoort.............Shmoo has lopsided FB's..................
What wonderful pictures of Shmoo! Caught in the act and the "I didn't do anything!" look. When did he start his life of crime and how hold is he now?
ML, so you don't have to dig for my info, I'm Linda W. from Honolulu, Hawaii. All 4 kitties have been featured by Kat:
Tiger (big yawn) on 4/18/06
Bebe (big green eyes) on 5/6/06
Pumpkin (fluffy tail) on 5/29/06
Blackie (sharing grass) on 6/22/06
My email address is lindaszoo@hawaii.rr.com (for anyone who wants to share photos, LOL!) Included in the zoo is 4 cats, 2 dogs, 1 parrot and assorted tropical fish in 2 30-gallon fish tanks.
Hey Linda W - I'd absolutely love to see a pic of your parrot! My 1st love was parrots! I used to work in a couple different pet stores here in VA in the bird departments. What kind of parrot do you have? Details please! My favorite is a green-winged macaw. Sorry kitties, but...
Linda's parrot sounds like a perfect candidate for PDJ, donchyathink? :-)
What a precious Shmoo! He sounds very sweet!! Way cute!!
loa, i absolutely love schmoo! he looks so innocent! but they are always the ones to watch aren't they.
schmoo says "it wasn't me, i promise, it was one of the other ones. hmmm, ask george if he did it. he's always giving you kisses cause he knows he's guilty. yea, that's it! that's my story and i'm sticking to it. it was george."
loa you have a wonderful kitty family. i would take schmoo in a heartbeat but my husband, kimiko and yuki would have a royal fit. LOL
yuki used to steal paper money from my middle daughters bookbag. one time she was missing a 5 dollar bill. boy was she mad at yuki.
loa, died laughing from the double sided tape story from your daughter. absolutely hysterical. if he can tote 2 lbs. how does sticky tape help keep him from stealing?
hmmm, showing symptoms of MPD. time to go to the other sites and post. then i can say i have OCCD? whatever! i got it honestly and it's all kats fault. LOL
He has been a thief since birth, he is not yet a year old, he will be 1 in August, but I can't remember what day. He is the son of Bossi, (who was featured awhile back), and Steppa, and is George's nephew, if that tells you anything about his character, and yes that face allows him to get away with murder. The sticky tape doesn't always keep him from stealing, but it keeps other things from crashing to the ground while he does his pillaging.
HE has broken most of my junk FINE i dont have to dust it the big thing was a bowl he is up high and yells bombs away SO WHO WANTS HIM COME AND GET HIM and he will steal your underwear if u stand still long enough BOHO
HE PUT ALL OF IT UNDER THE SOFA IN THE LAUNDRY HAMPER IN MY PURSE
Kat, we have a Blue Front Amazon parrot. I'll sent his pic to PDJ with his story so that you can all see him. (That is if I can get a pic without Quincy noticing. When he sees the camera, he flares out his wings and YELLS at me. LOL!)
Loa, I live with a klepto kitty too though Pumpkin is not in Shmoo's class of criminality. He takes small stuff to play with like pens, sponges and socks. He freaked out my dad one day when he ran down the hall dragging the belt from my bathrobe. :)
Linda
loa, i bet schmoo never allows a dull moment at our house. at least you know where to find all of his booty!
Hi All!
Didn't have much time to post today. The boss was in the office and had all these things for me to do. Anyway I did browse through some of the things that I missed over the weekend. It's great about Rose's and Kathleen's new additions. Glad they made safely to their furrever homes!
Schmoo is adorable and he sounds like a lot of fun to have around. Love that innocent face!
I actually got a little news of my own too, We were outside chatting with my next door neighbor yesterday, and it turns out "smokey" is a stray cat! Turns out my neighbor and another person across the alley from us has been feeding him too, so he's been making the rounds. I thought something was funny because I had been kind of keeping and eye out, and I never did see "smokey" across the street, even though they claim he was theirs. They told my next door neighbor the same thing, but he knows better. I can't believe those kids! I didn't quite believe they would have a cat with that dog roaming around. The good news in all of this is I MAY be able to give this little guy a home. Of course I have to work out all the details, and I'll have to work on getting Ella's and my mom's approval, since she's not to keen on the idea of another cat, but I think I can win them over. I am just so excited. I'm hoping to be able to get him to the humane society soon and have him neutered and checked out. I hope it all works out. Anyway I have to leave in a minute, but I just had to tell someone.
schmoo is gorgeous and absolutely hysterical! what a purrsonality! LOL! the pix are great!
ROFLOL-Schmoo is wonderful!! At least you know where to find your stuff. At our house, the standard response is, "The Dog did it!" Poor Shep, it's ALWAYS the dog's fault!
I've had three klepto-kitties. Squeek! was the first cat Paul and I had together. Paul was in the Air Force, and I would lay out the uniform every morning while he showered. Then I usually went back in the kitchen. The next thing would be "Honey, where are my socks?" "On the bed with your shorts, belt and hat!" "They're not here!" I finally caught her in the act, and then found where ALL the socks were! In the guest room, she had ripped the cover off the bottom of the box-spring, and stashed them inside, along with pantyhose, my underwear and a bunch of neckties!!
Thomas's favorite things were food. One night I didn't clear the table right away--he jumped up, grabbed ONE piece of spagetti out of the bowl, jumped back down and ate it. Then he went for more, one piece at a time! We were both laughing so hard, we couldn't stand up to get him, or the spagetti!
I think I've told about Little Miss Meowmepurr and her yarn problems!
I am so thrilled for Kathleen and Rose, and their new babies. It sounds like Miss Emily is going to retain her position as Queen of the House, as will Rosie the Rose. I can't wait to see pictures!! I'm sure there are some waiting at home for me; I'll FINALLY be home next Monday, the 3rd.
Enough for now--MOTHER is coming over for dinner(I cook on Monday, Wednesday and Friday), and I need to get my sheep together around here.
Ella's mom -- that would be wonderful to give the little kitty a home. I'm sure you can use your purrsuasive powers. I'm sure all you need to do is put the little kitty in their arms and have it look up into their face :-) Keep us informed.
Momsbusy - I saw what you said earlier!! Lol...:)
Linda W. - Amazons are great! I have tons of stories I could tell about the birds I worked with. Birds are so smart and fun! Can't wait to see Quincy and hear his story on PDJ!!
Lisa - Good luck w/Smokey! They'll give in! :)
Ella's Mom, that would be great! I love when strays find homes. Purebreds are nice but that just means that there are that many more out there that are homeless. Don't get me wrong, I don't begrudge anyone for having a purebred cat! ALL cats are special!
Well, the more I look at Shmoo, the more I like him. Your stories about him just made my Monday. Imagine having to tape things down. All this and he is not even a year old.
Donna & Ella's Mom - I know firsthand that technique works, remember, that was how I was tricked into taking Missy. Me, an avid cat hater (actually it was fear of cats) melting when Missy blinked those big eyes at me. Yeah, that'll work. Smokey'll have a home before you know. Just remember, even if they say they don't like cats, do it anyways.
Hello Valinda! Your site is a great outlet for you to get things off your chest, I admire you for it. I hope we see more of your input from now on. Just jump right in, we're happy you're here!
