Mylo, Look out...take heed the post about that Riquel wants to "squeeze" you -- we all know what happens when Riquel squeezes cats! Look at JR Man -- or at least what is left of him. Just a head with Photoshop-ed eyes. (We have yet to see proof he is "a whole cat", Riquel!)

mylo is precious. i love bobtails. they have extra purrsonality. his markings are extra cute with the beard/goatee and partially blackened nose.
i might not get to check in much for a few days. i am still working on those pesky drawings. i had a minute at work so i thought i would post quickly.
please put rex (my woofie) in your prayers. he seems to be throwing up stomach acid and when he gets up he walks like he is drunk. he stumbles badly and has almost tumbled down the steps to go into the den. got a vet appt for him tomorrow evening. we'll see what they say. at 16 years old there isn't much that can be done except make him comfortable. i am gonna try to post a pic of him w/ his new do. i guess i will put it on the neko blog. maybe tonight after everyone goes to sleep i can sneak a few minutes to post it.

The weather in this country is something else. One thing, we are all in the same boat. To blasted hot. We have been going up to 114 in some places up here. I pray our power doesn't go out. I am one person that just can't take the heat. Never could, even as a child. Karen C and Kathleen hope it will cool down soon even though you don't have to use A/C the majority of the time, it's rough when you need it.
Rex, the gang on this end is praying for you. It's way no fun to be vomiting.

This doesn't seem right. Houston was around 80 today, not really like Houston in July.
I think it was in the 90's today here. With heat index upper 90's. Last week w/heat index, it got in the 100's too. Yuck! Hate humid and hot weather! Okay, I received an email from Donna today. Here it is:

been well above normal temps here. Our normal July high is ~72F. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday it got up to 88, 84, and 84. We don't have air conditioning
(usually don't need it), and it got up to 91 and 87 in the house even with windows open, fans blowing, curtains closed to block the sun, etc. Uggghghhh. We had 3 furry blobs stretched out on the floor trying to stay cool. Every once in a while they'd look at us like "do something, would ya?!" :-) I felt so bad for them. I even tried wringing out a cool, wet washcloth and wiping down Maddie and Wiley to see if that would help. I couldn't tell.
Anyway, good to hear from you. I'll not be far. :-)

Yes, Karen...Bobtail cats do have longer back legs and they actually run/hop more like a rabbit might when going fast - especially going down stairs!
