Isis

I, thank you very much, am Isis, and I started off life with a complex. My real momma abandoned me, and I struggled for my life along the streets near my foster Momma's apartment complex. She heard me mewing one day, and when I crawled out to her, I was no bigger than the palm of her hand. I've been with my Momma for three years now, and since then, we have moved into our first house. I'm still struggling with my paranoia and anxiety, but I would like to think that I am making progress...why are you looking at me? Stop looking at me already! Ugh!

Hi Isis,
Sweetie, you have to get used to being "looked at" -- you are so gorgeous.

Aren't you lucky to have been found by such a nice Mommie.

And didn't she give you such a pretty name, after a goddess.

Isis, you are a beautiful Goddess and I'm glad your momma shared your picture and story with us.

Just want to let my Fuzz family know that as of close of business tomorrow I am being laid-off so anyone who has me on their email list would want to remove my listing. I'll be back on again from home email soon.

Thanks, Katnippia, At 60, I'm not too concerned, this might ease me nicely into retirement plus I can spend more time with Emma, Alex, Charlotte and Dickens. Plus my boss told me that if things pick up they will call me back.

Hi Isis, what pretty eyes you have. You have no reason to have anxiety, you are a beutiful, regal looking kitty. Glad your foster mom found you and was able to give you a loving home.

Claire, I'm sorry to hear about your being laid off. I know how that is. Seems to be happening a lot here in Michigan.

Hi Isis, I am so glad that you came out to your new Momma so she could give you the love that you deserve. I have to agree you have one sweet face and you will have to get used to being looked at. I am sure Zeus will be there to look after you and protect you. So glad you found your forever purrfect home.

Claire, sorry about your lay-off, but glad that they will call you back when they need you. I am sure your fuzz pack at home won't be sorry.

Hi everyone! Sorry I wasn't able to say good morning, but I had a Christian Women's Club meeting to attend. Don't know if anyone's ever heard of them, but anyways, my two boys were models for a children's clothing store's fashion show held especially for the meeting! They and a handful of other adorable kids!

Isis - Girl you're such a beauty, we can't help but stare at you! So glad your momma found and rescued you! You have beautiful coloring!

GS - Fixed your link to Pet Du Jour!! And glad to see you posted today! We just miss you!

First of all, I am so jealous. Min Min arrived. If you haven't already checked on the HOMBC (did that acronym wrong, I know...), she documented the whole ordeal of packing Min Min. Wow. Hopefully Theo will be here soon.

I contacted Kat last night, KC was acting very strange (sick). We called the vet about 6:30 pm, who assured us KC was not seriously ill, and told us to come in first thing today (we did).

But I was so scared. So I discussed it with Kat via email. Dr. Kat, if I remember correctly, said it was an ear infection, which indeed it is. Dr. Smith backed up Dr. Kat's original diagnosis.

KC now weighs 2 pounds 1 ounce. Dr. Smith said she looks like an entirely different cat. She is so outgoing, playful and smart. Dr. Smith said KC has a "widdle wombat face". I'll have to look that up!

After the vet, we stopped to visit Dixie, who has had many cats during her life. She said KC is really a "great cat". KC just doesn't know any strangers. She climbs up on people's shoulders, "flies" from there to a nearby perch.

So it was a good day, except that Deb is flying out of Houston later. She's probably enroute to the airport now, with Sloane, Tatum and five beautiful cats in five kitty carriers. We had planned to go see her this evening, but she decided to leave with her girls. Which sounds like a great plan to me.

She said to tell everyone she will be back on her computer this evening, and if not then, tomorrow for sure. Poor Tim, he doesn't yet realize he's about to lose his computer. But he gains a wife, two beautiful daughters, and five lovely cats, so he can't complain.

Hi everyone! I had blogger cooperate late, so I finally have both sites updated. I'm sorry I've been scarce..."The Black Dog", as Churchill called it. PMS as my mother called it!!

I NEED ALL YOUR SAGE ADVICE!! With Godmother Deb, She Who Must be Obeyed's assistance, The young Royals are all set for their shots on the 22nd, and neuter/spay 2 weeks later. HOWEVER! I caught Brutus after Marigold again, and this time the horny little bugger was...um...well, he had a hard-on!
I dumped cold water DIRECTLY on "it"...Should I keep Marigold or Brutus "sequestered" until the big nip-snip?? ALL ADVICE IS MOST APPRECIATED! If only he'd try that with Emily, she'd smack him into next month...
what an entry after a week's silence...what's a Queen Mother to do?!

Rose - It's kinda late so you may not see this, but I would definately think about keeping them separated. Cats/kittens can come into heat as early as 3-4 months of age!! How old are they now?!
