Grayby

This is Grayby, another of sweet Princess' babies. In the kitten photo she was a month old. Grayby is now 1 year old (right Jess?) . She has the sweetest purrsonality and makes me laugh and smile everyday. ~Jessica >^..^< ~Say good-bye and wish Dante & Buttons good luck at Emma's blog!~

Good morning! Graby is so pretty and petite. Maybe it's just the angle of the photo taken, but her feet look so petite! And it looks as though she's smiling for the camera! She was wasn't she! Karen, check out the floofy tail!

Well, Dante and Buttons are going up to PetsMart today. I'm sad but glad. My sponsor, Deborah, is letting them go separately and not have to be adopted as a couple. We discussed it yesterday and I think it's best. The will be fine going separate and they will get adopted faster. Now, if they were like 7 yrs. old and been together since kittens, then I'd say they should go together, but they are young and will adjust to life just fine! Zebby goes up just for the weekend adopt-a-thon, so...maybe this is his weekend. Let's hope!

How is everyone doing? Good I hope!

OM GOSH! Grayby is such a tiny, pretty girl! I have such a big cat that it was nice to have a tiny kitty to hold. She looks like she fits the bill. She does look like she's smiling for the camera.

Good Morning All!!!

Another one of my beautiful grandkitties. Grayby looks a lot like our cat Purrl who disappeared a few years ago. We still don't know what happened to her. Maybe she is reincarnated as Grayby. They look so much alike.
Good luck with Dante,Buttons and Zebby.

What beautiful kittens, and Grayby (love that name) is gorgeous.

Aha, there is going to be a major announcement today --- keep your eye on the Pet Prayer and Praise blog. There is GREAT news about someone named Hope [past tense]. YEA!!!!

And, oh, good luck beautiful little Zebby and Dante and Buttons, but especially Zebby, who is trying so hard.

Morning all,

Grayby is adorable! Her expression in the adult pic is just priceless. Looks like she's making a funny face just for the camera. Definitely a camera ham!

OMGosh, I wish I'd thought to take my camera to PetsMart this morning! Well, I got Buttons & Dante settled in their double wide cage. They weren't exactly happy about it, but investigated everything and Dante even had a roll around in the clean litter box! Silly boy! Anyway, in the cage next door were two adorable 3 month old kittens. One was grey & white and the other was a Siamese mix. Too cute! The Siamese is going home tonight and it's a good thing. The grey baby kept trying to suckle on the Siamese's incision sight! She having just been spayed probably 3 days ago. Not good. I called Darcy who is the, I guess you could call her, assistant sponsor? She volunteers over 40 hrs. a week for ART!! And she is just the best! She was going to call the sponsor in charge of these two adorable babies and let her know. I took the Siamese baby out for a few minutes and let the grey kitten fall asleep before putting the Siamese back in. The grey wasn't trying to nurse anymore, at least not when I left. And also, good news. Darcy is going to keep Zebby at her house instead of Deborah's(my sponsor) this adopt-a-thon weekend. I'm really glad she is. He'll have a nice quiet space and get lots of attention from her. So yeh!...and I will pick Zeb up Sunday evening. Hopefully not, but...ya know.

"Barid", are you in the Houston area? That's where I am located. Way out West on the Westpark Toll Road, about a block from the Fort Bend/Katy county lines.

Kat, if you let us know about the sponsors, maybe we could do something together? I'm willing to learn and help anyway I can.

BTW, if the name of the photo on the left is Princess.jpg, for some reason the extension isn't coming across when you click on it, that's probably the reason for the error. In any event, I'm sure it's the Bloggers fault!

Barid - I am a foster for a rescue group called ART. So I personally don't have to pay for anything for my foster kitties. My sponsor, who volunteers to be so, pays for food, vet bills, litter, flea meds, etc. She is then in return reimbursed by the group/A.R.T. Most PetsMarts have rescue groups that work or rather show kitties there that are in need of homes. Check out your local PetsMarts and see. They may even allow you to put your current fosters in the group so that they will find homes easier because people can see them at PetsMart. Our group is really good and if I was to find a kitty in need/stray, the group will take it in and I foster it. Most of our cats in the group come from Animal Control, SPCA and turn-ins. There is a link to the group A.R.T. that I foster for under my special links if your interested. I had gotten an email from House of (Mostly) Black Cats mom offering to post those kitties looking for homes (info about them). I almost forgot about the email. I will try an email her tonight, if it's okay w/you and have her do that. Link to cathappy and let people who visit her site know about your fosters. But definately check out PetsMart and see if they have rescue groups there that you can foster for and maybe get your fosters in the group. Let me know what you find out!

Rosie- I don't understand why that picture is giving the error message! I loaded them both the same exact way. That might be the size of the picture I have and it won't enlarge, but it still should not be giving an error message. Weird. I'll go mess w/it and see if I can fix it. "Fuzz bomb"...lol!

thanks for the kind comments about my Grayby! btw, that is short for gray baby (i named them by colors in the beginning; i hadn't planned on keeping them all!) yes, they just turned one and i can't imagine not having them!! she is slightly bigger than the pic on the right, but not much. she really is a petite girl and she's a real sweetie and always cuddling in bed but doesn't want to be held. she does smile a lot too :)
she has beautiful golden eyes like her mom and sibs, but she never opens them in pix!

Kat, I was having some trouble with pictures that wouldn't "biggify" too. I usually write the text first on new posts and then added the photos which ended up at the top of the text. When I dragged and dropped the photos below the text while in compose mode, some of the html coding got left behind, usually the http: part. I've been switching to the edit html mode after loading my photos so that I could cut and paste all of the coding related to the photo I'm moving. Hope this helps.

Mary Lynn, I am on the north side of Houston between Magnolia and the Woodlands. Just north of where 1488 and 2978 come together.

Thanks for all the info. I want to continue fostering, but we have been paying all the bills and it has just gotten too expensive - $3,000 this year so far. I am hoping to retire in Nov and the only way I can continue to foster is to get some assistance with medical bills and supplies.
