Polar Bear

Polar Bear showed up in our driveway when she was about 6 months old. She was a skinny grey kitten, and she took one look at my husband and jumped into his lap. Needless to say we couldn't resist her. The next day my husband gave her a bath, and that's when we discovered she wasn't grey, but pure white, except for a couple of black tracks on top of her head (which have disappeared over the years). Polar Bear is going to be 16 in April, and she is, without a doubt, the sweetest cat we have ever known. She still loves her Kitty Hoot toys, her Bizzy Kitty Entertainment Center, tissue paper in a box, sleeping in a sun patch, and most of all, her dad. She follows him all around the house, and will start purring if he even looks at her. She and her younger sister Rockie tolerate each other, unless there is another cat in our yard. Then they are best friends, shoulder-to-shoulder, ready to find the enemy together(which is pretty funny, since they are indoor-only cats, and would lose in any real kind of fight). -Judy W. Simply beautiful. Polar Bear is very elegant. Another happy cat that found just the right home 16 years ago! Much paw applause to "daddy" for saving her and giving her that first bath!

Our Polar Bear did the reverse - she was born totally white and then acquired her coat of many colors www.cathappy.com/polarbear.htm

Oh, and don't forget: Polar Bear was named after Cleveland Amory's "The Best Cat Ever".

And she is.
