Whiskers is 6 years old. My daughter, Katie, was at her dad's house and they visited a friend whose cat had kittens. Katie wanted a kitten and so Whiskers went to live with her dad. She named him Whiskers because they gave him a bath and his fur was all wet and unfluffed, so all you could see was his big whiskers. A few months ago, Katie's dad decided he couldn't keep Whiskers anymore because he was getting divorced. He said if I didn't want him that he would take him to a shelter. Of course I wanted him! He was very shy when he came to live with us, but he has really come out of his shell. He sleeps with me every night. He loves tummy rubs and his favorite snack is Cat Sip. When he doesn't get it he meows very loudly!! I call him my little panther because he is so muscular and he moves so stealthy. He gets along very well with my other cat, Oreo, and Sammy the dog. I'm so glad he came to live with us! -Karen S.
